Having grown up in France, Venezuela and Israel, Miami dentist Dr. Edderai is comfortable and fluent in French, Spanish, Hebrew and of course English. After attending the Montefiore Academy in London, he went to Israel to study radiology with some of the leading doctors and professors in the field, at Tel-Aviv University. Upon graduation, Dr. Edderai became chief of the children cardiac catherization lab at Military Hospital (Fundacardin) in Caracas, Venezuala.
While there was much professional and personal satisfaction in this position, Dr. Edderai felt that he had more to offer the medical field. He relocated to Miami to perfect his English at the University of Miami and then to New York to study psychology at Queens College. His studies then took him to his true calling: dentistry.
Dr. Edderai attended the prestigious Dominican Dental University where he graduated and then moved back to Miami to begin his career. Practicing and perfecting dentistry has become the focus of his professional career and studies. Dr. Edderai is trained in general dentistry, dental implants, dental surgery, orthodontics (including Invisalign), endodontics, TMJ disorder and periodontics.
He is trained in electromyography, electrognathography, joint vibration analysis, othogantic repositioning treatment and myofunctional therapy. Additionally, he has twice completed a training program at the Tampa Bay Craniofacial Center and has completed the two-year training program at the United States Dental Institute.
Dr. Edderai also gives back to his profession and to his community. He has volunteered for over 20 years to work once a month in the free dental clinic at Lindsey Hopkins Dental Research Clinic. He is also eligible to become a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry and has beenan examiner for the Florida Dental Board.
With all these accomplishments, its hard to imagine that he has time for anything else. However, Dr. Edderai finds time to be one a devoted husband and father of three beautiful children and grandchildrens.

TMJis an acronym fortemporomandibular joint. Thetemporomandibular jointconnects the lower jaw to the temporal bone at the side of the skull. This joint is essential to daily jaw functions such as opening and closing your mouth, chewing and speaking. It also enables the jaw to slide forward and backward.
It has become common for people to refer to pain in the temporomandibular joint as TMJ (I have TMJ!). In reality, TMJ is the name of the joint, not the pain. Pain in this joint is really calledTMD(TemporoMandibular jointDisorder).
TMJ disorderrefers to any condition that impairs or causes malfunctioning in the opening or closing of the mouth. This condition can be caused by overwhelming pressure applied during normal chewing or simply a nervous tic. This damages the structures and their surroundings and leads to acute or chronic inflammation of the temporomandibular joint. This can result in significant pain in the jaw area, jaw muscles, side of the head, back, front of the neck, and sinuses, as well as impairment of motor functions.

Great experience with Dr Jean and his staff! I appreciate how sweet and honest he is. My teeth feel a lot better I had to get multiple a fillings on each side of my mouth. I'm happy it's over. I will definitely be back for my check up. Thanks!

Dr Edderai is a scam artist. He will destroy your good teeth and replace them with crowns made in his office. He will lie through his teeth and tell you he had to destroy perfectly good teeth in order for you to believe you needed to destroy your natural teeth and charge you $1450 per tooth. This dentist does not care about his patients, just about how much money he can make off the teeth made in his office. BEWARE. I wish I read the one star reviews, they are accurate.

I went to Dr. Edderai as an emergency. A crown I had done some where else years ago had came lose and falling out. As busy as he was, he stayed late and worked his magic and boy was I surprised. He was caring, understanding and got everything done within 2hrs. What usually takes most dentist multiple visits to do. He has all the tools. He made my crown within minutes. He has a great team. Shot out to paul his dental assistant. I am extremely happy with his work.

My experience here was very warm and Appreciative, the service is phenomenal starting with the front desk staff they are so nice, helpful and friendly. The back staff is so genuine with the service they offer. Overall the treatment I received whether if it fillings, crowns, x-rays and cleanings I felt no pain. Highly recommend to anyone who's in need of a expert design smile.

Had a bad experience, the receptionists are very incompetent, I went in for my consultation to begin my Invisalign journey and the doctor told me he could begin the 3D scans that same day which would take about two hours, the older lady that works at the front desk was instructed to explain to us how the payments worked, which she did a very poor job at she told us one thing first and then kept changing her answer, she has very poor communication skills, she then told me to come back at three to do the 3D scans because they had other clients waiting, I left the office at about 12:45 PM and stayed around the area because I live far, when I finally came back at 3 PM the doctor was already leaving and the lady at the front desk once again failed at explaining the payment methods, and seemed to get frustrated and angry with us when we told her we didn't understand what she was trying to say and told us that we would have to schedule another consultation for the 3D scans. After wasting my whole day waiting for her to tell me the same thing she had told me three hours prior and then telling me I would have to come back to actually do the scans, I left very frustrated and disappointed, this place is completely unprofessional and after reading all the bad reviews I'm never coming back to this place and would not recommend to anyone.

Every time I go to the office the staff is always very pleasant. They treat me as if I'm family and makes sure I'm satisfied with the services received and if I'm not happy they would do what it takes to make sure I'm good before leaving. I personally wouldn't trade them for any other dentist.
