Dr. Sam Zaker maintains the highest standards in Dentistry by using the latest techniques and state-of-the-art dental technology. His commitment to excellence starts from the moment he meets his patient, listens to the patients concerns, and comes up with the most painless and long-lasting solution possible.
Dr. Zakers devotion to dental health is most evident by his involvement in various dental organizations and his continuing education in courses including Cosmetic, Prosthodontic, Pedodontic, and Endodontic dentistry, Oral Surgery, and Implantology. Dr. Zaker graduated from the University of Southern California (USC) School of Dentistry in 2007. His undergraduate degree is from the University of California, Los Angeles where he completed his Bachelors of Science in Biology.
Dr. Zakers certifications include advanced CAD/CAM training, Invisalign, ClearCorrect, Lumineers, dermal fillers and Botox. He is a Boston Implant Institute fellow and is proficient in implant placement, implant restoration, bone grafts, and sinus augmentation. Dr Zaker is an active member of American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Los Angeles Dental Society, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, San Pedro Chamber of Commerce, USC School of Dentistry Alumni Association.
Dr. Zakers passion for the field of dentistry encourages him to seek out high-quality materials and apply the most up-to-date treatment planning and delivery of specialized care. Whatever your dental needs, Dr. Zaker will make sure you are treated with the best in knowledge, technology and pampered care.
Dr. Zaker is fluent in English, German, and Farsi, and is an active member of the South Bay community. He was raised in the area, and currently lives in the neighborhood with his wife. In his spare time Dr. Zaker plays sports and spends time with his family, and enjoys photography.

The best they were awesome with my kids kind and gentle and they are truly the best dentist in san pedro they deserve more then 5 stars and my kids teeth look beautiful they have a million dollar smile best in town

My first experience with San Pedro Smile dentist. From receptionst , Doctor, Cleaning teeth specialist, they were unfriendly, no smiles, no nice words. I feelt like I was in police station. Just business like, felt like I was not customer, they were. Sad, very unhealthy environment! MZ

We have been coming to Smile Emporium for a few years now and have been nothing but impressed. The entire team there is helpful, friendly, and efficient. Going to the dentist can be a stressful experience, but they make it easy. Dr. Zaker is incredible and so personable, and their front desk coordinator, Julissa makes scheduling and payment easy. She helps us make sure we can use our FSA card and sends helpful appointment reminders.

"Dr. Sam" is a kind, personable, caring dentist that talks with his patients step by step through each dental procedure. Both of his assistants, Theo and Julie, work together with Dr. Sam just like a well oiled machine. All of the staff including the dental hygienist are professional and considerate. During this time of a pandemic, I truly felt at ease with their health and safety procedures to protect their patients. My prayers are with each of them as their jobs inherently put them at a higher risk for the COVID -19.

An incredible experience! Dr. Zaker, Theo and Julissa make a terrific team. From my first consultation to my last procedure they were friendly, caring, patient and professional. The office follows all safety guidelines and protocols for the COVID-19 Pandemic. The health and safety of their patient is a high priority. Them having the latest technology in office made my treatment go quickly and seamlessly. In general it was one of the best dental experiences I have encountered and I highly recommend this office.

Extremely expensive!! For 1 tooth they used up all of my insurance plus they charged me $700 which I ended up putting on my credit card. Just to fix 1 tooth!!! Never going back again. Overly price!

I love this place!!!! We have been patients of Smile emporium since they opened. We have been patients since year 2011 and We have been extremely happy with the practice and the doctor. Almost 9 years of being a happy patient!!!! Both me and my husband are patience, and we have really enjoyed the professionalism of the office. We have had cleanings, exams, deep cleanings, many cavities filled, crowns and even a root canal. All of the services provided were very professional and had great outcomes. We can definitely recommend this practice to anyone. If you're in the area and need a great dentist, Dr. Zaker is great!

This place has been nothing but a headache and I regret ever stepping foot in this office. I came here for my orthodontic treatment and Dr. Zaker informed me that I was a perfect candidate for their Clear Correct treatment. He informed me that they would in fact work just the same as regular traditional braces, so I went for it. The whole treatment process was a headache and their management is very unprofessional. My treatment ended and I was so relieved to finally be done with this long two year process. Then I realized that my jaw and my teeth were not positioned correctly and they would hit every time I would eat. Dr. Zaker told me the only way to fix that would be jaw surgery. I then went to my "actual dentist" (not Dr. Zaker) and he instructed me that I needed to put on braces right away. I was shocked because I just spent an excessive amount on their Clear Correct braces and then to be informed that I have to spend even more to correct Smile Emporium & Clear Correct's work. I went to a couple orthodontists and they informed me that traditional braces should have been the route to fix my teeth correctly. I find it very frustrating and very unprofessional for this establishment. Don't come here for orthodontic treatment because they are not an orthodontist and don't get Clear Correct "the off- brand knock off of Invisalign".

Dr. Zaker is the only dentist I would ever recommend. We all know that nobody likes going to the dentist. It is time consuming, often painful and just an overall burden on everyone's busy lives. However, we also all know that these dental visits are important to our health. If you are going to be going to the dentist, go to Dr. Zaker. Not to be outdone by Dr. Zaker's kindness, gentle demeanor and realistic personality, his staff is extremely friendly, welcoming, accommodating and helpful. This place is the best!
