From day one this experience has been so pleasant, professional and more like a family in my opinion. The staff is phenomenal, so friendly and compassionate! Dr Whitney is the best. If you're in the area , looking for an orthodontist choose this location you won't be disappointed!!!

Dr. Whitney and staff is amazing!! Allison is who I always request, she's knowledgeable, kind, welcoming and does an awesome job. If you're wanting a pretty smile, this is the place to go. I highly recommend.

We loved Thomas and leitner when our oldest was a patient. Unfortunately, Dr Thomas retired around the time our youngest needed to start his treatment and the practice became smile doctors. Our experience with the two has been like night and day. The treatment our youngest has received has not felt personalized, I wouldn't know his doctor if I literally ran into her on the street, and we've questioned her competence to the point that we considered switching practices mid-treatment and went for a consult elsewhere. After a recent adjustment, he had a wire jabbing into his jaw, causing much discomfort to the point where he could barely eat. This was a Friday, and I called at 3:30 to let them know that he needed to be seen for a quick fix. I was told that he'd have to wait until Monday because everyone there had left, and they only come in on weekends for "emergencies". I can't tell you how many times we were there after hours or on a weekend with our oldest son and a broken wire, before they were smile doctors. I feel sure that you can get better treatment anywhere else.

The staff at Smile Doctors were awesome from day one. They were truly accommodating to the fact that I stayed 2 hours away and were willing to work with me to get me the smile I wanted. I highly recommend them, Dr.Buechel and staff are again wonderful!!

After coming back two years later to replace my retainer, the people here are still extremely rude. They made cry after my appointment because of how rude they were. Not only did the front desk lady make a scheduling error and tried to blame it on something else, when I was done with my appointment she was sitting there on her phone browsing as if I wasn't there. Then when I was getting my retainer put in, the lady was forcing in my mouth knowing that it wasn't going to fit (I have worn my retainer every night since I got them off. She was explaining that it might have shifted due to the air bubbles and whatnot but how would it have moved that much of it's the same shape as my mold, but anyways...). She could tell how uncomfortable I was but still continued. The other front desk lady was watching and said "oh that sounded like it is going to chip a tooth" like I was thinking it too but who says that to a patient. Yes they did and okay job with my teeth, but I hated going back because of the way I was treated. I would not recommend this place because you have to continuously go back. Like sure if it was a one and done thing I say give it a try but not worth it to be disrespected. Me and my sister went here and she didn't like them either. My mom switch to a different orthodontist for my other siblings, if only she switch me too.

Smile doctors is by far the best orthodontist team we've experienced They have superb customer service and are quick. We travel 3 hours one way just to see her orthodontist. They are extremely compassionate and caring of our needs. Excellent payment options. My daughter and I are pleased with their service and would recommend them to anyone looking for an unique orthodontist experience.

Smile doctors in fort mill sc is purely amazing ! To the front desk to the lady's in the back , everyone is fantastic and super sweet ! I would recommend this place to everybody i know ! It's the best place to go to in town ! It's clean , fast , knowledgeable , and so friendly, Defiantly recommend !

I love them!!! I looked into several different orthodontist offices in the surrounding area comparing packages. You definitely get more for your money with them. I've never had any issues with them. I highly recommend.
