General and cosmetic dentist Dr. Ben McDonald and his team value patient relationships, which includes providing the general, compassionate care you and your family deserve.

Dr. Benjamin McDonald earned his bachelors degree from Harding University and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in 2014. Originally from Indianapolis, he wanted to relocate to a small community where he can have a close relationship with patients. Dr. McDonald enjoys being a dentist here because it has given him the opportunity to provide service to a great community. He enjoys helping peoplewhether its an emergency case or providing a smile makeover.

Outside the office, Dr. McDonald enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters. A member at Withamsville Church of Christ, he also enjoys traveling and sports, especially football and basketball.

West Union native Rhonda has been with the practice for more than 21 years, and she particularly enjoys educating people on taking good care of their oral health. She is a certified dental assistant and has an associate degree in dental hygiene from the University of Kentucky. Rhonda is a recipient of the Golden Scaler Award for outstanding clinical excellence in dental hygiene.

Originally from Seaman, Angie finds meeting new people and getting to know her patients among the most rewarding aspects of her job. She has an Associate of Applied Science Dental Hygiene degree from Shawnee State University. With Smile Designs of Southern Ohio for 31 years, she appreciates how each day is different.

Nickie, who grew up in Peebles, was trained at the Institute of Dental Technology and has been with Smile Designs of Southern Ohio for six years. She loves getting to know and working with her patients every day. Outside of work, Nickie is more than likely spending time with her family.

Peebles native Heather has an Associate of Applied Science Dental Hygiene degree from Shawnee State University. With the practice for three years, she cites building relationships, getting to know her patients, and helping people learn how to properly care for their oral health as the highlights of her job.

Originally from Rarden, Becky is radiology certified and received much of her training on the job. After nearly two decades with Smile Designs of Southern Ohio, she loves interacting with the patients and getting to know them personally.

Ashton has been with Smile Designs of Southern Ohio for three years. Ashton, who grew up in Peebles and received her training at Scioto County Career Technical Center, loves working with patients and facing a new challenge each day.
