As a family dentistry practice in Longmont, Smile Designers provides the general dentistry services needed, everything from professional teeth whitening to dental crowns and bridges, and from pediatric dentistry to emergency dental services.

We are upgrading our facilities from the ground up. This not just a refresh with new carpet and fresh paint. This is a total renovation. Are we still open during this process? Of Course, our patients health is our priority. We have currently moved into Phase 1 of our new renovation and in process if remodeling Phase 2. We expect to be completely renovated by the end of the year.

Our dental office is conveniently located on the southeast corner of N. Main St. and Mountain View Ave in Longmont and is accessible via all the major roads. We provide gentle, family-oriented dental care to the adults and children of this community. Our friendly and competent staff is dedicated to patient comfort and quality of care.

We are proud of our office, which fully utilizes state-of-the-art equipment. We have a modern sterilization system that surpasses OSHA requirements. Our staff is trained yearly and are up to date on all OSHA guidelines. The source of water for our dental units is a purified, treated water which removes any chances for contamination from regular tap water such as that used in most dental offices.

We provide the best and latest in dental technology and treatment options, using premier equipment sterilization techniques available to dentists. In addition to general dentistry and cosmetic dentistry, we work with specialists in periodontics (gum diseases), implant dentistry, endodontics (root canal treatments), and other specialists. We accept all major credit cards, ATM cards, cash and personal checks.For our patients convenience, we have arranged a payment plan through CareCredit that helps our patients receive their treatment in a timely manner. Our office also offers a membership plan called the Smile Plan. This is an in office discount plan that is a great benefit for patients who do not have dental insurance.

Dr. Steve Sampson joined Smile Designers in August 2007 as an associate. He was then a partner for 10 years and is now the owner of Smile Designers, PC. He is originally from Missouri and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Pensacola Christian College in Florida. After college, he attended Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia. He was fortunate to be able to have a U.S. Army scholarship throughout dental school. After dental school, he served as a Captain in the Army at Fort Benning, GA, for four years. Dr. Sampson counted it a privilege to be able to treat soldiers from various units including the 75th Ranger Regiment. He was also able to work extensively with specialists in all phases of dentistry.

Dr. Sampson and his wife have been married for 23 years. They have two sons, ages 18 and 15. He enjoys spending time with his family, attending church, weight lifting, golfing, skiing, date nights with his wife, movies, and reading.

Dr. Sampson is an active member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Colorado Dental Association, and the Boulder County Dental Society. He is also a member of the United States Golf Association and the Colorado Golf Association. He loves giving patients something to smile about and developing ongoing relationships. He treats all patients as if they were part of his close family.

Dr. Kaitlyn Delancey joined our team in October of 2018. As your dentist, her goal is to maximize understanding of options for care and overall comfort. She understands that no two patients are alike, and will individualize your treatment plan to attain the smile youve always dreamed of. Kaitlyn received her dental education at the University of Detroit Mercy and attended over 85 hours of continuing education last year alone to ensure that her patients are receiving the most up to date standard of care. In her career, Dr. Delancey has developed a passion for cosmetic dentistry and the advancing technology that is paving the path of dentistry.

Dr. Delancey grew up in Northern Michigan. She admires the beauty and charm that comes from Michigan but her heart resided in the mountains of Colorado. With her cat Stanley in tow, she moved to Longmont in the summer of 2017 and fell in love with the community. Outside of the office, you will find her camping on new backpacking trails in the summer and skiing in the winter. She also enjoys traveling the US and seeing all of our wonderful National Parks.

Dr. Delancey is also a member of the American Dental Association and Colorado Dental Association. She believes it is important to stay involved in the community and to give back. Kaitlyn has participated in several outreach events providing free dentistry for those in need right here in Colorado. She has attended We Serve campaigns on mobile buses and the annual Colorado Mission of Mercy.
