Dr. Jet is passionate about orthodontics and loves the uniqueness of designing each and every wonderful smile. Dr. Jet’s training began with a Bachelor of Science degree from McNeese State University in Lake Charles, LA and his dental degree from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in New Orleans, LA. He then went on to achieve a Certificate of Specialty in Orthodontics and Master of Science in Dentistry degree at The University of Colorado, in Denver CO. Dr. Jet and his wife, Rachael are grateful and humbled to be putting down roots with their family in the beautiful state of Louisiana. They are proud to serve the greater Lake Area

I heard many great things about this place from family and friends. As soon as you enter there is a peaceful aura about it and you are greeted by friendly staff. My daughter has received braces and my husband is in the process of getting clear aligners to enhance his smile. Age is not a factor for Dr Jet and his staff. Dr Jet is very thorough and explains the whole process with options. They also offer a payment plan which makes it affordable. I would not hesitate to stop by and see what they offer!

We have had the greatest experience there! Dr. Jet was so patient with my son (he was super nervous getting braces put on). All the staff is super sweet!

We have always had amazing care and service at Smile Design Orthodontics!! Dr. Jet Trahan and his staff are so caring and personable. Our daughter had a great experience, and our son is almost done with his braces, and has had an equally fantastic experience. We highly recommend Smile Design to any and all families or individuals that need orthodontics care!!
