Dr. Imeni received a Bachelor of Sciences in business administration on academic-athletic scholarship from Elon University. He then attended NC State university for two years to complete the curriculum in biological sciences in preparation for dental school. Dr. Imeni completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at UNC School of Dentistry. Having been given the opportunity to pursue his dreams and to give back to those in need, which included his family for many years, Dr. Imeni feels it is imperative that he give back to his community, and has volunteered many hours in events such as Mission of Mercy Dental Clinic, SECU Family House, SHAC dental clinics, ASDA Crest Healthy Smiles, and founded ENNEAD Love My Teeth outreach at the UNC School of Dentistry.
Dr. Imeni has taken continued education courses in CEREC dentistry, completing level one CEREC continued education, advanced cosmetic CEREC continued education, and implant restorative CEREC continued education. He has completed continued education courses in Implant dentistry, Hybridge Implant Dentistry, Global diagnosing/smile design dentistry. He has completed Invisalign continued education and is a certified Invisalign provider. His office also creates in-house clear aligners for orthodontic treatment, and passes on the savings from lab costs to patients. His conquest for continuing education is ongoing, and he looks forward to many more courses in the future. Dr. Imeni utilizes new, cutting-edge technology allowing the precise placement of implants using a fabricated implant guide based on digital impression taken by our intra-oral scanner, and 3D X-rays taken with our CBCT 3D X-ray device. He has dedicated his time to prosthodontic/cosmetic dentistry and doing everything in his power to provide his patients with the best results that they are absolutely happy with, guaranteed. He is adamant on involving his patients throughout the process and making sure his patients are completely happy with results prior to providing them with a smile that is permanent. Dr. Imeni believes changing a persons smile is more than just a new smile, it is life changing. I am so lucky to have the opportunity to provide such life changing treatment to our patients, seeing pictures of our patients smiling ear to ear when they never used to smile, ability to finally eat what they have been missing for years, and the confidence to pursue whatever career or goal they may have means the world to me and Im so grateful!

Dr Imeni and his staff are always pleasant and nice, making sure my visit is as pleasant as possible. I have never once dreaded going to the dentist since I've started going to Smile Design. I highly recommend Dr. Imeni and his team.

Dr. Imeni and his team are amazing! I have had to have quite a bit of work done here, which can be very expensive and time-consuming, but they have been so accommodating to my busy schedule and budget! Definitely recommend them!!

Dr. Imeni and his entire staff are so friendly and accommodating. They really do care. Dr. Imeni is incredibly talented as in Art meets Tech. And he really does go above and beyond to make his patients comfortable and happy with their results. I've always suffered with dental phobia, but not anymore, because Dr. Imeni makes me feel absolutely at ease with pain free treatment. Give him a call!

The STAFF was awesome. I'm not a big fan of going to the dentist, but they made me feel very comfortable. The dentist was VERY informative. My overall experience was GREAT.

Great staff and service. Attentive, kind and professional. Dr. Imeni is something else, he really knows his trade. I don't think I ever felt so comfortable going to a dentist. They are responsible, knowledgeable, and understanding. The hygienist is also so good and gentle. I've found them on Google and it was the best decision to try. Not one regret!

My teeth/dental health are in need of a lot of help. Everyone here is kind & aren't condescending. They fully explain what they're doing, and explain what to do at home, why it helps & how to do it if you're unsure. They have great financial options as well. If you're looking for friendly staff, and to feel healthy & good again- this is 100% the place.
