Don't choose this when you are looking for a dentist. This place is more focused on how to make money rather than your teeth. My wife had a root canal and crown for which they quote'd 1500 plus. They wanted the money upfront so we paid and right before she had her last appointment she said your insurance is changed so now you have to pay 1200 more. Without money they wouldn't schedule the appointment. They would quote you different and charge you a lot more.

My experiences here were so-so. My very first appointment I came on time sat in the chair and had a great convo with someone, then I get told my appointment conflicts with someone else's so I'll have to be seen another day. THIS IS WHILE I WAS SITTING IN THE DENTAL CHAIR. This was years ago so I kind of brushed it off but it was only the start of the foolishness. I would get charged random things and then come back on different appointments and get random credits. I saw the actual dentist one time out of maybe 10 visits. I ended up going elsewhere which isn't much better, but the hours work better for me.

I just wanted to say America is a world of opportunity and I love this office everybody was so kind all nationalities the Germans were there the Russians were there the Spanish was there the African American were there the whites were there what a beautiful variety of office staff and everybody was so beautiful and kind it really really was a good experience for me the doctor was excellent and the hygienist it was a really good cleaning from the front office to even getting the x-rays All above was a good experience so I thank you I'm a new patient and plan on staying and may God bless you all and I will be smiling at smile design dentistry in Tampa.

My wife and I went for simple cleaning procedure. Even though we had exact same procedure we charged different amount. Feels like this place more concerned making more money than healthy teeth. And more unfortunate service we got was awful. After cleaning procedure I was still feeling deposits on my teeth and my teeth started to turn yellowish color even though I clean them every day. Worst experience. Not going back again. Rahmonov

My rating is solely due to the receptionist experience I have had. I've had to reschedule a few appointments and that may be an inconvenience but I do not appreciate the tone I just received from one of the receptionist I believe her name is Jen. I get life is tough and who wants to receive a call at 8am from a patient but I received an additional call at 6pm last night without a voicemail left and wanted to ensure everything was set for my appointment. I am not sure what I did but I hope when I come to my appointment, the service does not reflect how Jen spoke to me. In addition, I called yesterday to reschedule and spoke to a pleasant male I believe his name was Josh to reschedule and unfortunately my appointment was never put in the system which me to contact the office yesterday evening because I received a text message from the office about my old appointment. Very unfortunate to speak to someone with a pleasant attitude then speak to someone else with an entirely different demeanor.

I absolutely LOVE this office!!! I've never had a bad experience here! Everyone is sooo pleasant and Dr. Buckley is AMAZING! Smile Design will forever be the place for my dental care! Thanks guys!

My family and I were very lucky to come across to Smile Design at Tampa Palms after moving to Tampa 4 years ago or so. Dr. Buckley has been there since then and he absolutely provides a great advice for his patients. As good of a dentist he is, he is very compassionate about providing best treatment for his patients. He explains his observations and best ways with options to address any concerns. We greatly appreciate his professionalism and honesty! Anyone who has been very fortunate to be helped by Andrea would completely agree on how genuine she is and a great work she does. From the very beginning she would set the expectations on what needs to be done that day with the estimated cost with the insurance. She is very methodical about her work with top notch service. She patiently answers any questions you might have and makes sure her work is completed as intended I am very humbled when I am helped by a great dentist and hygienist! As far as the front office staff, there has been changes over the years. I have interacted with Tara very recently as she was very courteous and helpful when I sought her assistance. I have greatly appreciated her follow ups and resolution. Thank you staff of the Smile Design for being there to help us your lucky patients!

This dental practice is spectacular. All employees are first class and treat you wonderful. Andrea is by far the best dental hygienist I have ever had bar none. I couldn't rate this office high enough. Don't hesitate to make this your office of choice. I highly recommend this practice.

Unbelievable. I had a dental emergency and they gave me an appointment at 4pm. When I showed up, the doors were locked, lights turned off, and no one answered the phone. Not sure why someone would schedule an emergency appointment and not notify the patient they are closing early. Please do not go to this place.

The best dentist I've been to they are prompt NEVER been there longer than 30 minutes and this includes treatment time if u are afraid of the dentist short on time need a new dentist appointment this is the place to go!

Horrible experience with one of the receptionist. I see that a few ppl on here have complained. I'm definitely going to a different dentist after this horrible experience! I was over charged. I got a service done and even told me the insurance covered it , (I also spoke to insurance and they said it was covered) yet they sent me a bill for 600 dollars!!! And days later I got a bill from a creditor!!!!!! The receptionist said there is horrible and she definitely manipulated my plan and bill. I will be reporting this business and also reporting it to my insurance so they don't pay a dime.

Last Friday they accept my appointment with my insurance, but they change their mind on Monday. Very unprofessional service, because my appointment on Monday, I turned down my other appointments because I needed a dentist urgently. Bad place

I had already made an appointment Friday and then cancelled on the day I saw the doctor saying that they wouldn't accept my insurance (Monday). Mentioned this in Google and said they would call me back by manager. However, I did not receive the call. Cheating.

Great staff, always welcoming! The hygienist are also awesome. Nat was wonderful and educated along the way while he was cleaning! Loved that. Only thing I would recommend is that there are less "traveler hygienist" and more permanent people there. It sucks to find a great person and then find out they're just filling in or travel around to different locations.
