Had dental work done here yesterday. I went for a cleaning and some fillings. Was a little nervous but let me tell you about the staff: I got there as was checked in by Linda who was very pleasant and I enjoyed some great convo with later (as much as I could with a partially numbed mouth). Freddy the hygenist did my cleaning first. It was completely painless and fast. He was done in a little less than 30 minutes. My teeth look polished to perfection. He scheduled my appointment for my next cleaning in May and I'm looking forward to having him do them because there was no painful poking or "oops, sorry" with him! Then the part I was nervous about - the fillings. I knew I'd have to get shots for numbing and that there would be drilling but it honestly wasn't anything like I thought it'd be. I've been to offices before where they don't really explain things or they just start and you just have to adjust without much care but that wasn't the case here. Erica explained everything to me before it was done and made sure to answer my questions before they started any work. She was friendly, funny and made me laugh so I was able to relax. The doctor, Dr. Alvarez did my fillings and checked in throughout the procedure to make sure I wasn't feeling any pain. Again, hats off to them both for being attentive and making sure I was comfortable. All in all it didn't take very long and my smile looks incredible thanks to that cleaning and much needed fillings. I checked out with Sue at the front desk who was just as kind as everyone else. She even gave me a goodie bag on my way out! 10 out of 10 for this office. The work here top notch, the staff is the best and I will be back soon for more work!

I came to this location for the first time last week to get my wisdom teeth pulled. Dr. Alvarez and his assistant Erica were amazing. Erica made sure I was comfortable and made sure I understood what they were doing before they did it. Dr. Alvarez is a true professional because not only did I not feel pain during the procedure, he worked quickly and made sure to check in with me throughout. Ms. Sue, the office manager (I believe) completes this amazing trinity. She was a friendly face from start to finish and made me feel less nervous. She explained the financials to me, helped me better understand how CareCredit works and helped me set up my next appointment. I appreciate the professionalism and compassion from all three! This will be the practice/ location I recommend to anyone who needs dental work done.

I visited smile design dentistry on weatherbee and orange blossom trail for my dental work. The staff were amazing , very patient, accommodating and flexible.Especially the lady by name Sue, who walked me through the entire process. I will recommend them to anyone who needs any dental services to visit them and you will never regret. Thank you smile design team.

Took one of my few days off of work for a 9am appointment today. Their system called me the day before at 1:45pm asking me to confirm outside of 24hours.....which doesn't make chronological sense. They cancelled my appointment because I didn't have any time the day before to call and confirm. I'm sure they are wonderful dentists for clients who have the privilege of extra time.

Gave my employer 2 weeks notice, so I could take off from work, to be at appointment. I confirmed twice with them my appointment, show up and got the classic excuse, the doctor had an emergency, we tried to reach you. And because T-Mobiles Voicemail was down didn't get a message. But I called them back, and they didn't answer. I would've thought they would've called me back, or sent me a text/email which they've done before to confirm appointments, they would've fallen back on that, but nope. And the fact that you have a giant sign at reception that says you'll charge patients if they cancel without prior notice, is just so Hypocritical. I understand emergencies happen, but this is 2021, calling somebody twice within 5 minutes of each other in the middle of a work day, without leaving a voicemail. Or answering my return call when I call back, is barely considered trying to reach someone.

Took my father here for a extremely bad toothache. They told us no appointment available for more than two weeks, then went on to criticize us, that my father had not gone for a cleaning for past 6 months. The receptionist looked annoyed with us, all while my father was in extreme pain. I guess they don't care about customers. Gave me a eerie feeling, when they used to be called orange dental which I had nothing but bad experiences. We went to bright now dental where they attended my father in 10 minutes, they where very courteous and professional.

My experience with the entire group of Dr Carlos Alvarez on 04/14/2021 was super nice, from the reception with Miss Crisal, then with Betsy and then Maria and of course Dr Carlos Alvarez all were super friendly and professional !! without a doubt this will always be my dental care place !!

I always had a great experience in Dr. Carlos Alvarez dental office. Hes very professional and attentive the new office manager and the all staff are excellent especially the hygienist Freddy Blasco. He's the best treating my periodontal disease. He has Angelic Hands!!recommend to family and friends.

Best dentists office ive been to, the staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and bilingual. Me and my boyfriend will be definitely going there for our future teeth cleanings/mouth problems. Id also just like to emphasize how amazing the staff is and how kind they treated us, i 100% recommend!

My son went to this place, night before i told him not to get the flouride because it's not covered by our insurance. The hygienist just let him sign a paper without explaining to him what is it all about. My son signed it because he knows that it's about his cleaning but unknowingly the paper also indicated that there's a $30 fee for the flouride. The hygienist then did the cleaning and all and after applying the flouride he my son asked him, that's just the time the hygienist told him that it is the flouride. My son was caught off guard. So beware.

Bad experience. I wait 2 months to get an appointment. When I get to the dentist office the receptionist said my appointment was canceled because, they call me to confirm the appointment so, I check my phone if I missed a call or message, I didn't find anything so,I show to the receptionist the nobody call or leave messages. The receptionist said if the 10 o clock patient doesn't show the dentist can see me otherwise , I need a new appointment so she gives me an appointment for August. I have to wait 2 more months to see the dentist. But if you don't show to the appointment they charge youa No show Fee.Very unprofessional

I canceled appointment 24 hours prior, however they charge me $50 dollars fee for no show. I would never do business with those thief. I would be opening BBB complaint soon.
