Dr. Arash M. Asil received his undergraduate degree in Biology from UCLA, a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Boston University, and a postdoctoral certificate in Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry from the University of Southern California (USC).
Dr. Asil is the recipient of numerous awards in the field of Cosmetic Dentistry; including The Merit Award in 2004. Dr. Asil has been selected by other dentists as one of the top cosmetic dentists in Orange County for four consecutive years since 2007.
Dr. Asils desire to practice quality dentistry has led him to open his private practice. Smile Design Dental Group allows Southern California residents to receive the most comprehensive dental services all under one roof. A Board Certified Oral Surgeon, Endodontist, Pediatric Dentist, Implantologist, and Periodontist work with Dr. Asil to provide remarkable oral reconstructive makeovers. We also offer a five-year warranty on restorative procedures as long as you let us check your dental health during your dental check-ups and cleanings. Dr. Asils concern does not end with esthetics; his practice is fully focused on his patients overall health as well. Amalgam (silver) fillings, associated with mercury and lead poisoning as well as numerous other health ailments have long been abandoned in Dr. Asils practice. As a matter of fact, Dr. Asil has been improving the health of his patients by safely removing amalgam fillings.

We have been going to Dr.Asil at Smile Design for almost 17 years. He is an awesome dentist with an awesome staff! He is smart, personable and very good at what he does. My husband and I highly recommended Dr. Asil and Smile Design!

Dr. Asil and his staff are very caring, friendly and take the time to make sure you are comfortable as a patient. Dr. Asil always takes the time to explain what is needed, making sure that you are well informed about what is being done and why.

Very clean! All the staff are wonderful! They really listen, helpful and you get the feeling they care! I've done some cleanings and scheduled more of my needs. My anxiety seems less with the Dr. so I'm hoping for great experiences in my future dental care here! Thank you all!

Had 3 great experiences here. Crowns, extractions, and cleanings. Outstanding dentist who handled my dental phobia beautifully. From Debi in the office, to the assistant and hygienist, everyone here is well qualified, honest, and all around a great office. Prices are considerably lower than many places I have gotten work done. Highly recommend Dr. Asil and his staff.

This is a new dentist for our family. So far super transparent dentist. Doesn't intend to fix what isn't broken. Refreshing to have a dentist not just out for the money all those unnecessary root canals and implants bring. Appreciate the honesty so far. Will update after I go in for a new crown next month.
