Dr. Yoon completed her orthodontic and pediatric dentistry residencies at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), the nations pre-eminent program of its type. She also earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery and Master of Science degree, completing extensive research in Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) at UCLA. Upon completion of her dual specialty degrees, Dr. Yoon was invited to join UCLAs School of Dentistry as a Clinical Faculty. She is also an adjunct assistant professor of Stanford Sleep Medicine Center at Stanford University, an honorary assistant professor of Orthodontics at the University of Hong Kong, an adjunct assistant professor in Orthodontics at University of Pacific and a clinical associate faculty at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. She is also a co-director of Pediatric Dental Sleep Mini-residency program at Tufts University.
Using state-of-the-art technology, Dr. Yoon is committed to achieving clinical excellence and ideal case results. Dr. Yoon is a collaborative team member at Stanford Medical Center in the sleep apnea research. She has developed a pioneering Distraction Osteogenesis Maxillary Expansion (DOME) technique for the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea and has co-authored chapters in several leading ENT textbooks. She is one of the leading orthodontists to perform the Surgery-first approach for orthognathic surgeries and has developed its application for maxillomandibular advancement (MMA)surgery for OSA. She is also an expert in customized sleep oral appliances and early interceptive orthodontics in children for craniofacial growth modification.

Since the age of 10, Dr. Linda Phi wanted to become an orthodontist. After she had her braces, she was able to smile more, laugh more, and express herself to the fullest. In return, she wants to give all her patients the same experience: an increased confidence in both their smile and self-growth. She believes in treating her patients with the plan that best suits their needs, whether it is early treatment, braces, or Invisalign. Her goal is to give her patients the best smile utilizing the latest technology, and to provide the highest quality service to them and their families.
Dr. Linda Phi is a Board Certified Orthodontist who is currently practicing in Southern California. She graduated from UCLA with a Bachelors of Science (B.S.) degree in Neuroscience, followed by her Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) and Masters of Science (M.S.) in Oral Biology at UCLA. She was the only dental student in her class to graduate with both a Dental degree and Masters degree simultaneously. While in dental school, Dr. Linda Phi received the Community Dentistry Award, the American Association of Oral Biologists Award, the Fred Herzberg Memorial Award, and the Yoshio Yamaguchi Scholarship.
After dental school completion, she acquired her Orthodontics certificate and Masters of Science in Dentistry (M.S.D) at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco, California. She received the Kevin Campbell Alumni Association Service Award at the completion of her residency program. Her strength lies in her extensive Invisalign experience, Phase I treatment, and a wide variety treatment modalities. In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Linda Phi is a part-time faculty at UCLA to educate dental students of the fundamentals of orthodontics.
Dr. Linda Phi loves anything Disney-related and reading the Harry Potter series! As a Southern California native, she will forever be a UCLA and LA Lakers fan. She is currently learning how to surf and snowboard, so any advice would be appreciated!
Lupe joined Dr. Audrey Yoons team in 2008. She began her career as a dental assistant specializing in all facets of dentistry. From there, now she transitioned into the office manager, she always goes the extra mile to ensure our patients receive exceptional care and have an amazing experience in our office. She enjoys the relationships she has built with our patients and with the other members of our team. When she is not at work, she loves spending time with her family. She also enjoys watching sports, cooking and traveling.
Yaritza happily joined Dr. Audrey Yoons Team in 2013 after graduating from dental assisting school. Yaritza shares the same vision with Dr. Yoon of creating a uniquely personal dental experience and making our patients feel comfortable. We are constantly learning through new advancements in technology and she enjoys passing her knowledge on to others to better their smiles and lives. What gives her the most joy is being able to help patients gain confidence and achieve their dream smile. She enjoys working in both general dentistry and orthodontics. In her free time, she enjoys going to the movies and exploring the outdoors with her family.
Cintya is a valuable asset to the office with her bright personality and ability to learn quickly. She finds joy in starting conversations with all our patients and ensuring they feel at home the moment they stop into the office. She is a strong advocate of higher learning and continues to seek higher education. In her free time, she enjoys reading and spending time with her friends and family.

Dr. Yoon is great. She goes out of her way to make sure her patients get the best results possible. She is clearly well versed in her field and makes sure to tailor treatments based on individual needs. She does all of this with impeccable bedside manners and a radiating smile on her face. Highly recommend her!

Dr. Yoon is a super caring and thorough orthodontist! We are referred to her by a friend dentist who's son had his ortho done by Dr. Audrey Yoon, and I figured since she was so good with kids, she would be good with my husband, who can be a little bit of a baby with dentists. I enjoy going with my husband to his appointments since they always have movies playing in the waiting room, and the staff is always very nice and inviting. I'm glad that I chose Dr. Audrey Yoon office, especially since I'll be there a lot for the next two years during my husband's treatment!

Doctor Audrey Yoon is such an amazing orthodontist wonderful office great atmosphere everyone is so welcoming. My Invisalign consultation was better than expected. I highly recommend this office. She is the BEST doctor.

Lenghty review ahead (First Google Review Ever!): I went to see Dr. Audrey Yoon per recommendation from my Surgeon at Stanford in preparation for SARPE and MMA Surgery in order to treat Obstructive Sleep Apnea. I was a bit hesitant at first, since these orthodontic visits required a 3+ hour commute from my home. I was in college during treatment, which complicated my decision. However, words can't describe how grateful I am to have undergone treatment with Dr. Yoon. Attention to detail and her care for her patients make Dr. Yoon the best at what she does. I often felt like I was visiting my extended family during my visits. Three surgeries later, two years with braces, and one year with a palatal expander screwed to the roof of my mouth (I had the coolest 1 centimeter gap in-between my two front teeth for about 6 months, definitely a conversation starter) are nothing compared to my overall health benefits and aesthetically pleasing smile. My Sleep Surgeon at Stanford (Dr. Stanley Liu) and Orthodontist Dr. Audrey Yoon are exemplary in their treatment for Obstructive Sleep Apnea. I am sleeping like a baby and my smile looks great. My appointments were mainly in the Daly City Office (closer to home), but there was times I saw her in the Bellflower location when I was near the area. I now live in Portland, Oregon, but will continue to see Dr. Yoon when required, she is just that amazing! To summarize: Dr. Audrey Yoon is the best. BELIEVE ME. Solid 10/5 Stars.

I am currently an invisalign patient of dr.yoon and my experience so far has been great. She is a very experienced and kind doctor. She gives you options when it comes to your treatment and makes you feel comfortable. The office has a very good vibe and the staff is very welcoming.

Ever since I was a child, I dreaded about every single visit to the orthodontist. Not anymore, though. Dr. Audrey Yoon and everyone who works at Smile Design & Beyond made my trip incredibly enjoyable and simple! I came in to get a remolding for a new set of retainers since I misplaced my original ones, and I can definitely say that it was the most pleasant experience at any orthodontist to date. I was a first-time patient, and every single person was more than welcoming and assisted me with everything that I needed to do. Dr. Audrey Yoon met with me, and she, just like the rest of her office, was both very personable and professional. People in the office greeted me as I walked in, helped me finish the new patient paperwork, and everyone was beyond congenial throughout the process. They even gave me a few discounts since they saw my birthday was coming up! Wooh!!!! Who doesn't like a staff that's friendly AND *truly* helpful? Not only does this place fix smiles, they give them out, too! I would definitely recommend this office to anyone who is looking for an orthodontist in the city.
