Today I had the worst dental experience of my life. This was my 2nd visit and the first one, while it took forever, was very pleased with the cleaning. This time I went in for just a simple cleaning and he started in with the super deep clean I had the first time, which seemed odd to me. This time it was way more painful and when I let the dentist know this he seemed to get angry with me. And by the time he was finished, his anger and visible frustration was unbelievable. I couldn't get out of that chair fast enough and looking back, I should have stopped the cleaning and left about 15 mins in when I first felt uncomfortable. I do feel like he is a very capable dentist but his behavior towards me today was completely unacceptable and I will never return.

I've had a lot of different dental experiences in my life and this was by far the most uncomfortable one yet. I waited almost an hour in the waiting room before they called me back to the cleaning chair. After the X-rays I was told that I had a small "growth" in my jaw, but not to worry about it. Then I proceeded to sit through a super painful cleaning with a small drill. It felt like getting fillings without any anesthesia, on every single tooth. I kept asking for a normal cleaning and he kept going back to the drill. (I wonder if he makes more money with this type of "deep" cleaning?) One-fourth of the way into the cleaning I couldn't take the nerve pain anymore and I made him stop and made an excuse to leave. He got super angry and gathered his tools and stormed out. The whole experience was honestly kind of unbelievable. Would highly recommend looking elsewhere for dental care.

High attention to detail, but the experience felt uncomfortable because I asked for a regular cleaning (which my insurance provided) and halfway through the appointment was told they were doing a << deep cleaning >> which is additional and not covered by my insurance. I then told them I only wanted the regular cleaning, which they then reverted back to. Transparency is an issue and it left me feeling uncomfortable.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Cho and Kenia. I met them when I had a broken tooth. Two dentists and an endodontist couldn't save the tooth, but Dr. Cho did. I trust and like them so much that I travel 800 miles to see them whenever I need an appointment.

Terrible customer service and now a couple years later that tooth they "fixed" is back to where it started. Also, horrible bedside manor, when I was in extreme pain he basically told me to get over it and there was nothing he could do. I haven't had this issue with any other dentist since I left these guys. Buyer beware...

I don't currently have dental insurance, so I found this office's prices to be reasonable and they take Care Credit. I really like the staff there! The receptionist/dental assistant is very pleasant/attentive and the dentist himself is great as well! (He's got a wonderful sense of humor!) And I love how honest he was. I'll definitely be going back to this place!

I lost a filling but thought I had cracked a tooth. Dr Cho was fast and efficient at removing the old filling and replacing it. His hygienist and support staff were very effective as well. This is a small office with excellent service but they get busy. If they don't answer the phone leave a message-100% worth the call back. Thank you!!

Today, I had a very horrible experience with Dr.Cho. I watched him swearing and yelling and his employee, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! He numbed my mouth and stopped working on my teeth, that were being redone, because of poor quality of work. Left the office in a rage! I will not be going back again! The anger I witnessed today, all because, his assistant hadn't told me to relax my tongue.... Very sad......

Terrible customer service After calling five times, I was unable to get anyone on the phone so I decided to go to the office. A man arrived without even saying hello and looked in a very bad mood. I kindly said that I was trying to reach them over the phone and he simply answered "yes we're busy". So I simply said goodbye and left.

This is the first review that I have ever written, but I feel it is important to let people know what my experience at Smile Dental Studio entailed. I am new to the area and booked an appointment at Smile Dental because it was covered under my health insurance plan. I was appalled by how unprofessional and "scammy" the entire experience felt. I was at the office for 1.5 hours and did not get a cleaning or a dental exam, yet my insurance was billed $325. When I arrived, the front desk employee had me brush my own teeth with hydrogen peroxide. Then, Dr. Cho proceeded to give me an hour long lecture on COVID and how the virus acts on the mucus membrane. I am not irritated that he provided a lesson on COVID- in fact, I do think it is important for medical professionals to spread awareness about the virus. However, I am irritated that it took the entire appointment and that I was charged for it. After lecturing me on COVID, Dr. Cho told me that I should be spraying hydrogen peroxide up my nose, and handed me a spray bottle of a diluted hydrogen peroxide solution to do so. After my appointment, I called my primary care physician, who informed me to NEVER spray hydrogen peroxide up your nose. Needless to say, I threw the spray bottle out immediately. After an hour of COVID talk, Dr. Cho informed me that there was no time left for my cleaning, and that I would have to come back to do that. He also never gave a full dental exam. He took X-rays, and then looked at a single tooth, and that was the extent of his "exam". However, despite not getting a cleaning OR a dental exam, I left with a $325 bill to my insurance, and a $30 in-office charge to me. I was told that this $30 was a copay, but then my insurance company later told me that Smile Dental has charged me for their PPE. I understand that COVID will change the way medical visits go, but I feel that Smile Dental Studio used it as an excuse to make money off patients, without providing any real dental care. I felt scammed. For the record, when I called Smile Dental after the appointment to cancel my next appointment and request a refund for the $30 that I should not have been charged, they immediately refunded me and tried to brush it under the rug. I suspect this is not the first time they have been busted charging every single patient $30 for the mask that Dr. Cho wore, which as a dentist, he would be wearing whether or not COVID was a thing. While I am relieved and appreciative that the refund was granted, I am unfortunately unable to go to another dentist for my cleaning and exam (that I never got at Smile Dental Studio) because my insurance only allows for one free cleaning and exam a year. I will now have to pay $150 elsewhere for what I intended to get out of a dentist appointment in the first place.

Covid is Real! I got infected and quarantined at my home. Fortunately, due to my health and with the use of hydrogen peroxide as a nasal spray as well as an oral rinse helped me. I'm feeling better, hydrogen peroxide helped me in my recovery. I would also like to mention, due to lack of information on tv and radio it is helpful that all healthcare professionals are aiding in trying to tackle this virus.
