Dr. Chris Khatchaturian is a graduate of the University of Washington in 2000. He received additional hospital training in Tucson, AZ. During this time he gained experience in all fields of dentistry by training with a specialist in these fields.

Dr. Chris Khatchaturian has a wide range of experience in different areas of dentistry, from cosmetic and restorative dentistry to surgical treatments and root canal treatments.

Dr. Vanessa was born and raised in Sao Paulo, Brazil. She received her Bachelors of Science in Biology and her DDS degree in 2001, from the University of Guarulhos in Sao Paulo, Brazil. While earning her degrees in Sao Paulo, Dr. Vanessa interned with the Brazilian Air Force and was part of a volunteer group that offered their dental services, free of charge, to those persons in the Sao Paulo area lacking sufficient dental care.
Dr. Vanessa relocated to the Antelope Valley and received her California Dental License. Shortly thereafter Dr. Vanessa completed a residency in Cosmetic Dentistry from Esthetic Professional, in Tarzana, CA. Almost immediately after Dr. Vanessa began practicing dentistry in the Antelope Valley, she quickly gained a reputation of being a well-trained Dental Professional as well as a highly skilled Cosmetic Dentist.
Dr. Vanessas educational and professional background, along with her warm, calming chairside manner and soft hands has allowed her to provide a low stress, gentle dental care environment for all her patients.
Dr. Armen Hartoorian began his career in the dental field as a Dental Technician, which gives him a breadth of experience and knowledge when helping patients address concerns with dental restorations.
Dr. Hartoorian earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Boston University in 2006 and went on to complete advanced training in Prosthodontics through the VA Medical Center. Dr. Hartoorian enjoys working with patients and is committed to continuing education for the advancement of his dental career and improving the patient experience.

Wait time is INSANE!! Like why have appointments if the times aren't going to be respected. Going on 2 hours of waiting to be called, there a max of 15-18 ppl waiting in the whole building like WHATTTTTT?!?! DO NOT COME HERE!

They have gotten better on wait time. The orthodontist there is amazing. She hears you out and notes the details and your concerns. She takes action on concerns and tells you what is next step in you treatment.

The staff was not only welcoming but made me feel comfortable while I waited for my procedure. I have been looking for a dentist since I am new to the area and I'm so glad I found Smile Dental. Will definitely be coming back.

Wish I knew whoever is in charge of this place! Extremely unprofessional staff especially at the front desk. Once I came for my child's appointment as I approached the window one of the lady's look straight at me and continued moving on to something else literally ignored my service and the other lady assited with moving forward with my son's check in, keep in mind the lady that ignored me all of sudden acted like she was going to assist me, I didn't keep quiet, I told her about the situation I told her that she ignored me which was extremely unprofessional. Also, the wait times are extremely rediculos specially when having kids. If you don't bring it up to the front desk attention.. it's like they forget they have patents to serve! Nobody with a child should have to wait 2-3 hours to be seen!!!!!!! I'm definitely switching my kids dentist!

We've been waiting 2 hours hours for an X-ray. I asked for a time that was usually not busy, there's about 30 ppl here. Yes I counted. However ~ extra stars for the dentist & back office staff. They were great.

I was recommended by a friend who got her canines done there. I called to make and appointment went in for my appointment the waiting area and restroom were clean very happy to know that they followed 6 feet distance from each other. Everyone there are friendly. I waited about 1/2 hour before they call me , got my x-rays done quick, went to the back in a room very clean sanitized and organized. Dr Chris came in did my exam and got my work done in a timely manner. Very friendly and explain to me the procedures for my implants. Aaron is very friendly always telling me thing step-by-step as he was doing my procedure making sure it was OK if I had any questions just to let him know. The first set of implants was not what I Expected Aaron Politely listen to my needs and made The necessary changes to my liking. With the pro of Dr. Chris and his assistant. Aaron is fantastic great at his job. Dr. Chris Assistant always checked on me regularly To make sure I was taking care The coordinator is professional and polite always explaining everything to me in detail to make sure I understand the cost of the procedure. The receptionist always greeting me with the smile and polite whenever ask for a toothbrush before my appointment didn't hesitate they always gave it to me with no questions asked. My treatment is still iongoing I just can't wait to see the end of my treatment with my new teeth and beautiful smile. I would recommend Smile Dental to my Family and friends . Thank you doctor Chris and all your staff For being patient with me and amazing work!!!!

This place is horrible I went for a crown 3 times and they messed it up all three times and on top of that the lady stabbed my lip with a tool and the service is horrible!!!!!!! I would not recommend this place if I could leave zero stars I would.

U guys schedule to many appointments at 1 time. Certain equipment wasn't available.. And the wait is ridiculous But i give The ortho department 5 starts they are good

It always takes too long waiting... My son had his appointment at 1pm I checked in at 12:30 because I like to be on time is already 2:05 and he has been seeing by anyone.... When is dentist appointments for any of my I know for sure not to plan anything for the day because in this place they take their sweet ssss time... Don't get me wrong I like the way doctor treat my kids but the staff books too many patients at a time.

Wait is always long and the staff is very unorganized. If it wasn't for my kid receiving ortho treatment there I would have switched dentists. Needs improvement on scheduling of patients in a more timely manner and not over crowding causing long wait times.

I was very concerned about my insurance approving my dental work and having my teeth pulled. I expressed I did not want my teeth pulled without the authorization for my partial plate. They informed me the plate was authorized and pulled my teeth. I came today to be fitted for it and now being told that my partial plate was not approved. I have been dealing with this place for months now. I truly feel the front desk workers are racists towards white people. They are very rude and if you complain they make you wait even longer. It is disgusting how patients are treated in this place

Overbooking is normal there so dont expect a personalized service. You are a number to them and they do not value your time. Go somewhere else this place will have you waiting for hours even if you schedule it weeks ahead of time I went in there it was so bad and so ghetto I'm not sitting around for 3 hours I have stuff to do. They lie about the work needed as well

They don't have an option for zero. If you another race besides Hispanic don't bother going! Why set up an appt when they don't honor it. Thought ok first come first serve F my appt. But when they called in a new patient that was after me. I KNEW WAS IN THE WRONG PLACE! TRANSFER MY DENTIST THAT DAY!

they are liars to get more money out of you. they said i had a few cavities and that my insurance didn't cover a major dental cleaning so it ben 136++ but i went to another dentist i used to go to and my insurance covers my major dental cleaning and the dentist said i had no cavities. so wth smile dental ? i'm never coming here again. not only that but they book you well overbooking others & make you wait almost 2 hours to get in sometimes. had a appt at 3:30 and waiting until almost 6pm to get in there finally. ridiculous. you guys are jokes

Worst service ever. Appointments "made on system by staff" but then cancelled once we got there multiple times. Dr refusing to have others staff members help with issue. Bathrooms were disgusting. 6 staff members talking to one another, on their cellphones, not caring to clean facilities. Every staff member there even "office manager" claiming every situation is "out of their hands" . Hopefully management will do something about this place.
