The dentist at this facility fixed my broken tooth Now I can't stop smiling at random people. Thank you so very much The reason I gave four stars was because of my own philosophy that no one is perfect and can make room for improvement. Me getting the same day appointment , getting my teeth fixed in a record amount of time and not fainting was a five star in my book.

I love Smile Dental! I've had a lot of bad dental experiences in the past with the dentist but Smile Dental does a great job at being helpful at making sure I'm comfortable. They're always super timely and friendly from the front desk staff to the doctors! I'm so happy I found Smile Dental

Dr. Mir was super kind and attentive to all my concerns. His staff was very friendly as well and everything was done on time. I highly recommend Dr. Mir and his practice!

I found Dr. Mir very condescending and eager to push products and services as things I "need" that seemed unnecessary, have not been recommended by other providers, and are not covered by my insurance. Most tools / technology used seem outdated compared to other dentists I've visited. Will not be making a second appointment. Front desk staff is friendly!

I recently moved to the area, so I didn't have a regular, primary dentist. I walked over to Smile Dental after breaking a tooth earlier in the day to schedule the soonest appointment, but they were able to squeeze me in & I was seen/treated so quickly! I've always hated the dentist after a bad experience when I was younger, but they made me feel so comfortable and it was a great experience. All of the staff is extremely friendly and pleasant!! I appreciated every single person I encountered, and I'm not the least bit hesitant to go to Smile Dental for consistent & regular dental visits! :-)

Very smart, kind and patient dentist! I have used this office for my last three dental visits and I can honestly say that I have never had such meticulous dental cleanings in my life! I l moved to the other side of DC but I will return to this office again. I highly recommend this dentist.

All of the staff was pleasant except for my dental hygienist. She was very rude and is the reason I won't be making a follow up appointment.

I went to Smile Dental for the first time over the summer and saw Dr. Mir, who is absolutely fantastic and definitely made me want to make Smile Dental my regular dentist. However, today I saw a different dentist who was honestly just mediocre - nice enough and ethical ( i.e., I don't feel that she was recommending anything that I didn't need) but definitely not enough to make me want to return. Hopefully I will be able to request Dr. Mir for future visits, because honestly otherwise there are enough mediocre dentists in the area that I could just go to whomever is closest/ most convenient. I really hope Dr. Mir figures out his practice because he truly is a great dentist.

First, I'd like to say how warm and professional Denise was. She was knowledgeable, understanding of my needs as a patient, and clearly an expert at her job. I feel lucky to have had her take care of me. Dr. Gutierrez did make me feel quite uncomfortable, though. She seemed offended that I was questioning her -- I simply wanted more information about my cavities. I do appreciate that she offered to take pictures of my cavities. This added helpful context to the situation and was very thoughtful of her to offer. I was more than happy to get my cavities filled, but wanted to discuss timing given that I work ~80 hrs a week and I am simply unable to take personal days. She responded to this by talking over me and getting aggressive. When I mentioned that she wasn't allowing me to speak, she simply said, "Nevermind, we won't fill them today" and walked out of the room without another word. This is troubling because it's unprofessional and because I'm a patient that has already expressed that it is difficult for me to access care. By walking out of the room and changing her mind on whether she was willing to treat me today, she made it that much harder for me to get the care that she had recommended herself.
