For Dr. George Barsa, one of the most essential roles he plays in the lives of his patients is ensuring that they are free of pain and discomfort and working with them to create a smile that will improve their overall health, increase their self-esteem, and have them feeling confident as they move through the world. He develops a one-on-one relationship with each patient, learning about their dental health goals, and then uses his artistic abilities and technical skills to develop the smile the patient has yearned for.
One of the things that Dr. Takla enjoys is getting to know his patients. He knows, from personal experiences as a child, that dental visits can be intimidating for a lot of people. As a result, he is dedicated to making the office a comfortable place that will not only transform smiles, but will transform lives.
When he is not helping his patients improve their smiles, Dr. Takla loves to spend his free time with his wife and their four children. He also enjoys running, reading, cooking, or making amazing BBQ. He is a certified scuba diver, and loves to travel to new beaches.

Just called to find out what time my appointment was today and was notified that the office was closed and moved. No notification. I'll be switching dentists.

I just completed my crown procedure with Dr. Ming and I could not be happier. I've neglected the dentist like many do for too long because I was scared and nervous but the moment I met Dr Ming (and her assistant Jesse) I felt really comfortable and never embarrassed to talk about my problems. Now I have the most beautiful set of crowns on my front six teeth that look so natural and so white! Dr Ming made me aware of the whole procedure timeline to get a beautiful smile before my wedding! Thank you, Dr. Ming, Jesse & Renae!!! This is the dentist experience we all should have.

I had an appointment for 12:30pm at this office, and arrived 15 minutes early in case there was paperwork I needed to fill out for insurance. After my paperwork was filled out, I was told that there was an issue with my insurance, and I provided information to the receptionist to solve the issue. Two patients came in after me for later appointments, and were seen before me. After waiting for a full hour and a half, the receptionist told me that they could do the cleaning but I would be billed while they waited for my insurance to be verified. It took an hour and a half for me to be seen. I was in the chair for 15 minutes, still no work done, and walked to the front to find the receptionist, dental assistant, and dentist all at the desk talking. They were completely inconsiderate of my time, and not courteous enough to update me about what was going on. I walked out of the office at 2pm, without having any dental work done. The previous dental practitioner (Dr. Tamkin) was kind & accommodating, but is no longer at this location. Will be seeking out another dentist for future care.

Couldn't ask for anything more , Dr. Monica Obniski and her staff are very caring take time and explain everything, I've been to other dentist over the years treated good, but not like at Smile Dental ,and they were right here in my backyard. Highly recommend this place.

I've been going to Smile Dental Care for a few years now, even went through them for Invisalign (which my then 3 year old son ended up losing the last tray for me, what a sweetheart) and I've always been eager to return. They've taken care of me very well, answer any questions I have, and give cautionary advice or suggestions all the time. Although the actual dentist I see has varied year after year, they've all been wonderful.

I love this place. Prior to coming to this office I had not been to the dentist in some time, almost a decade, and needless to say I was terrified. I came here and Dr. Ajmal and her team took the time to make sure that I was comfortable and happy. My least favorite part is the needles, but Dr. Ajmal is super gentle. She also found the most reasonable solution for my problem. Don't hesitate, go!

The whole staff is amazing! All the way from the doctors to the receptionist. Dr. Monica & Jesse are an awesome team. I've always been scared of going to the dentist (horrible experiences in the past) and they're so comforting and reassuring during my appointments. Very reasonably priced. Renee is awesome too! Very thankful I found an amazing dentist office like this one! Highly recommend this place. Thanks guys for being an awesome team!

Great! Great! Great! I have been afraid to go to the dentist. Smile Dental in Lombard, all the staff and Dr. Tamkin were wonderful. They were friendly, concerned about how I was, made sure I knew what they were doing and what I would feel so there were no surprises. I am not worried about any futher dental work I need. I trust them. Great job ya'll.

Staff is rude and are not willing to work with you. They are not very caring, especially when you are in pain. They talk down to you and don't listen...will not be going back.

They were nice but referred my 8 year old to a pediatric dentist. When I called numerous pediatric dentist's they said she was not pediatric cause of her age. Called Smile back several times and they never called me back.

I went with other Doctors and told them how my teeth bother me and all said it was a hard case to treat and that it would be costly. So that made me not want to go to the Dentis and made me affraid, Till i heard about Smile Dental Care and i spoke to Dr.Patel and as soon as i spoke to him he was honest and told me you are a very hard case but we will give you all of the help you deserve and will start your treatment ASAP. He then Spoke to Dr.George and after talking to him both started my treatment and i have been Blessed by the magic hands of all Personell of Smile Dental Care.( This might sound like i am exagerating but im not) litteraly i felt blessed. Maria, Receptionist is alwasy attentive and funny very welcoming. All Doctors and Nurses/Assistant very friendly and very polite. Dr.Patel is Honestly the Best Doctor i have ever found, very honest and if there is something that might be too hard to figure out he finds alwasy a solution.Very Professional. Dr.George very friendly, very Professional, and very welcoming. I have had Great Results soo far and i have had Braces for a Year and 5 months. Jonathan, is a very friendly assitant and its Bilingual I would really recommend to any person having dental problems, to come to Smile Dental Care as you will obtain the best professional help you need in a quick time matter. I would highly recommend this dentist - they are friendly, prompt, reasonably priced, and very expert. I had an urgent double root canal, and they scheduled me quickly. The procedure was painless, the recovery easy, and the dentist was able to save teeth that two other dentists told me would have to be extracted. The entire experience was excellent.

I purchased a Groupon for a teeth whitening procedure. The staff was great. The dentist did a wonderful job. They explained every step of the process and just overall made me feel comfortable. The whitening procedure went great and the dental technician did an excellent job. I would definitely recommend this office to anyone!
