Carly is the office manager and the insurance coordinator; She is in charge of managing patient accounts, processing claims to insurance carriers, and collections. She has been working closely with Dr. Mirza for over 4 years. Carly started out as a dental assistant in 2012 and understands the inner workings of dentistry. She moved her way up for her strong personality to manage insurance and patient treatments. Carly loves helping patients in any way she can.
Osmara is a Registered Dental Hygienist for over seven years who graduated from Rutgers University. She is a dedicated clinician and always gives 100% to our patients. Osmara strives to provide a comfortable experience and enjoys working with patients and educating them about good oral health no matter what age. Outside of work, she enjoys being active with her young puppy, lifting weights, and taking spontaneous trips with her friends.
Dr. Huma Mirza graduated from United Medical and Dental School of Guys, Kings and St Thomas in London in 2002, one of the most prestigious dental schools in the UK. She graduated top of her class and won prizes in orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, dental public health, microbiology, immunology, pathology, conservative dentistry. Dr. Mirza was also entered to win the Gold Medal prize for best dental student in London, in which she achieved the runner up position. She also achieved distinctions in most of her subjects. Upon graduating, she married and moved to the US where she attended NYU College of Dentistry, graduating in 2006 with the highest GPA in her class. She was on the Deans list for all 3 years at NYU and won the Ethics prize and a certificate of achievement in recognition of outstanding achievements. She took part in the honors program in Oral Surgery and was inducted into the omega chapter of OKU, an elite dental society joined by invitation only.
Upon graduating from dental school, Dr. Mirza has worked as an associate in a variety of different dental practices. She decided to open her own practice, Smile! Dental Boutique in the summer of 2012. She continues to take extensive education courses to improve her skill range, enabling her to to provide a vast range of treatments for her patients, and helping her keep abreast of new technologies available.
In her spare time, Dr. Mirza enjoys staying active, she enjoys kickboxing and competing in obstacle races such as Spartan. Dr. Mirza and her husband live locally in Watchung with their three daughters and can often be seen in the local parks or community events.
Dr. Ike earned her Masters Degree in Biomedical Sciences at the Rutgers School of Graduate Studies then continued on to obtain a Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) at the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. She was granted membership into the prestigious Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontic Honor Society and also earned the RSDM Minority Scholarship amongst other achievements. Following Dr. Ikes graduation from her dental program, she completed a residency at Ellis Hospital in Upstate NY and joined the private practice shortly after.
Dr.Ikeis deeply loved by her peers and patients for her warm attitude, bubbly smile, and gentle nature. Her love for education drives her compassion in exploring new technologies and breakthroughs in dental medicine to ultimately provide the best care and services to her patients. This dental office is amazing! They take the time to personally connect with you as a patient & everything is about comfort. They allow you to communicate your potential expectations & questions & they effectively provide answers and valuable feedback. It's awesome when your dentist and associates are all about the customer and not the potential money to be received. Highly recommend, 5/5 stars. You don't have to read other reviews, I've been to 5+ different dentist all across the US & they are the best!

I absolutely love the staff and the doctor. Super sweet people and the service was amazing. The doctor works very diligently and i would definitely recommend going to her. She is patient and very caring towards her patients individual situations and gives everyone her best work. She is very honest and professional, truly the best! A great experience with her and the staff I wouldn't go to anyone else!

Don't waste your time book your appointment with them. They are only going to let you wait until the dentist is done with other patient. If they don't have enough dentist to see the patients, they should reserve enough time for each patient and shouldn't even book so many patients in the same time. We had several bad experience with them, and chose them only because they are very close to where we live. But this would be my last time. Here is what I experienced: I had an appointment at 12pm with them today to do a few fillings. I arrived there on time, and was seen by the nurse and dentist soon explaining to me what needs to be done. I told them that I need to go back to work around 1pm and asked then if there was enough time to do all. The dentist said she doesn't want to rush so we agreed to do 2. They gave me anesthesia shots and gel to save time for the anesthesia to take effect. Then the dentist was gone seeing other patients and didn't back until 12:50ish after I checked/reminded the front desk several times that I need to go back at 1pm and concerned that the dentist won't have enough time to do the procedure. The answer I got was "there is never certain as to when you can be seen for any medical procedure". And the dentist asked me if I want to reschedule. I was just very upset about it with the fact that i already got the shot and my nose and mouth were all numbed but I couldn't get anything done. They don't value patients time. Even if they could be honest and let me know that they probably couldn't see me and finish the procedure before 1pm when I was there based on the situation at that time, I won't be this upset. I had similar experience during my last dental cleaning visit, after the cleaning was done, I waited at least 30 mins until the dentist was able to come and check. I wasn't in too much rush last time so it was not too bad. I will never go back to them, and suggest you don't if you value your time as much as I do.

I had my very first appointment at smile dental and honestly there isn't one bad thing to say! Liana at the front desk made checking in and completing new forms so simple and easy. Osmara and Dr. Mirza made me feel at ease and explained everything before they even got started. Definitely found myself a new dentist.

I've dreaded going to the dentist for as long as I can remember, until I found Smile Dental Boutique! It's always easy to book an appointment, there are virtually no wait times, and the office is immaculately clean. The entire staff is extraordinarily friendly and I actually look forward to coming here to see Dr. Mirza and Alyssa for my semi-annual visits!

Dr mirza is incredible! I can't say enough good things about her. I am 8 months pregnant, never had any dental work done but after years of not keeping up with my teeth, I needed an emergency root canal, with my insurance I went to a few different dentist who claimed they were emergency dentist but when I got there in pain and unable to eat super pregnant (with OB clearance) I was told I wouldn't be touched until after the baby was born. I proceeded to call many other dentist and endodontist to no avail, they were either hesitant to help me or totally booked out. So my fiance called dr mirza's office (who has been his dentist for the past year, and he raves about her)and told them about me and my situation, she literally agreed to take me on the next business day, on her lunch break and performed an incredibly fast and efficient (not easy bc of me) root canal! She is patient and kind, and gentle! Being that I am so pregnant, and never had anything done before I became more anxious with all the root canal stuff in my mouth, silly yes but she was so patient and kind to me! She was so accommodating and knowledgeable! She is one of a kind!!!!!! Best dentist thank you guys so much! If it weren't for her, I'd be struggling to eat and sleep for the remaining 3-4 weeks of my pregnancy! And for about 2 more weeks after my csection (which is the soonest anyone else could do the procedure) She is an angel! Don't walk- run to her office!

She did an amazing job with all 6 crowns on my front teeth as well as a partial. She can do root canals (from my understanding she is dually certified in UK as well?), she's FAST, and she's very patient with me. She has gone out of her way to see me on a Sunday. Plan on going back for my remaining work.

I've always been very afraid of the dentist, but that all changed when I met Dr. Mirza. I had some work to get done and I was nervous about being in pain but the procedure was absolutely painless and I could not be happier. The office is very relaxing and the staff is always so friendly and helpful. I can now say I enjoy going to the dentist.
