Dr. Venitress Bryant Carrington attended Oakwood University in Huntsville, Alabama for her undergraduate studies, which focused on Biology. She completed the dental program at the University of Michigan, earning her DDS in 1997. Following her educational pursuits, she performed an extensive General Practice Residency at Western Reserve Hospital, where her skill in oral surgery became evident.
Passionate about every aspect of dentistry, Dr. Carrington is especially interested in dental implant treatment, oral surgery, and cosmetic dentistry. She continues to develop as an outstanding dentist, taking educational courses that enable her to provide patients with the latest, research-driven treatments available.

The staff and Dr.were great.I went in petrified of the dentist but everyone was so in tune with my feelings they made me feel so comfortable.I had a procedure done,and absolutely no pain whatsoever.Im truly amazed by their work ethics.Ill definitely get all my dental work done here.Thank you Dr.and staff.

I don't understand how in the world they have so many great reviews. This office is TERRIBLE!!!! I had a scheduled appointment for 2:30--they called and asked if I would come in at 1130; I agreed. I waited from 1130 til 115 to be seen. I had to ask why did you all want me to come in early just to wait nearly 2 hours. They nonchalantly responded oh the doctor thought she could get you in earlier. But wait the madness doesn't stop there--- not once but twice they drop the ball with my prescriptions and blamed the pharmacy. I finally said enough is enough and canceled my second appointment that they required I prepay $375. They haven't refunded me yet for the service I didn't receive. They are overpriced and quick to recommend sedation. I have never had to have sedation and have had several dental procedures. Please be aware of them!!!! They will steal your money.

My mother recommended that I schedule an appointment at Smile Creations when I shared with her that I was seeking a new dentist. I had to have several fillings and was nervous about the procedure because I am not able to keep my mouth open wide for an extended period. Dr. Carrington was empathetic and assured me that all would go well. She communicated with me during the procedure which resulted in me relaxing and having a great experience. If you are looking for a dentist that is professional, empathetic, and respectful, schedule an appointment at Smile Creations. You will not be disappointed.

I needed to see a dentist so bad had been having a tooth pain I couldn't find anyone that I could go to at that moment so I went online and found Smile Creations and was able to be seen the same day and the staff and Dr. Carrington was so nice and helpful thanks to Smile Creations you guys are awesome.

My mother went to this office for a consult for a tooth that broke. While in the office for the extraction she asked to leave many times before the extraction began but the office would not allow her to leave. The doctor was very rude and yelled at staff during her visit which made her more uncomfortable. They administered laughing gas after she told them no and would not stop. Would not recommend this office or doctor to anyone.

I had such a great experience at Smile Creations.When I arrived, I was warmly greeted and checked in. Tara, the dental hygienist, was very personable and professional. What I appreciated most was that she took the time to explain her process and how it related to my dental health. She also recommended some flossing products to try at home. Dr. Carrington was amazing as well. She was attentive and thorough. She was able to identify the cause of my dental issue, then developed a plan to correct it. Going to the dentist is one of my least favorite things to do, but Dr. Carrignton and her staff really put me at ease. I'm glad I found this office.
