Dr. Lorraine Riopedre-Gomez earned a BS in Biology in 2010 from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico and achieved her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Dental Medicine. The Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program at NYU Langone followed and provided her with advanced training in clinical dentistry, enhancing her skills as a general practitioner. She also researches, studies, and presents findings via educational forums.
Dr. Lorraine is enthusiastic about continuing education so that she can provide state-of-the-art treatment options for her patients. It has made her a well-rounded practitioner with expertise in a variety of disciplines. Being an Invisalign provider is one of the advanced certifications that she has earned and which she particularly enjoys. A firm believer in clinical screening for early detection of oral, head, and neck cancer, Dr. Lorraine and team includes this in regular examinations of all patients.
Dr. Lorraine holds active membership status with the American Dental Education Association, American Association of Women Dentists, American Association for Dental Research, Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Association of Endodontists.
Having graduated in 2016 with her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry from the University of Puerto Rico School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Sanchez-Santos went on to complete her General Practice Residency at Montefiore Medical Center in New York City. Since then, shes worked in private practice, where shes developed a strong background and expertise in comprehensive dentistry. Dr. Sanchez-Santos is a proud member of the American Dental Education Association and the American Association of Women Dentists.
