In the past, most dental professionals had to use the traditional x-ray systems, which require film development. These days, we use digital x-rays due to their many benefits. A digital x-ray is safer and much quicker than its film predecessor. If the image comes out blurry, we can instantly retake a new one. Digital x-rays are a crucial diagnostic tool that helps us gain a better understanding of the inner workings of your mouth, more specifically the teeth, roots, and alveolar bone.
An intraoral camera is a handheld appliance that is shaped like a wand. The tiny camera at the tip of the appliance takes hundreds of pictures per second to capture an in-depth and accurate image of your mouth. This image is sometimes used to create a digital impression of your teeth and gums. A digital impression is particularly useful for same-day dental crowns.
Digital impression technology gives our doctors a more comprehensive overview of your teeth and gum tissues. This allows us to better diagnose any potential problems and determine the next step in an effective treatment plan. We may utilize digital impressions for cosmetic dentistry or restorative purposes, orthodontic treatment, and dental implants.
A cone beam CT scan is a diagnostic tool that produces a 3D representation of your teeth, gums, nerve pathways, and underlying bone structure within a single image. We typically utilize cone beam CT scans when a regular x-ray is not enough. Cone beam CT scans are ideal for dental implants, the diagnosis of TMJ disorders and tumors, and the evaluation of bone structure and tooth orientation.
Dr. Nguyen grew up in Cerritos, CA, and graduated from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco where she taught part-time. After graduating from UOP's accelerated dental program, she completed a General Practice Residency at the University of Southern California and worked in the Greater Los Angeles Veterans' Affairs Healthcare System. The GPR program gave her greater expertise in treating medically complicated cases and in hospital dentistry. She spent the first 5 years of her career giving back to the community by working in a mobile dental clinic for the underserved populations of Santa Clara County and Alameda County and still donates to them regularly. In her spare time, she enjoys powerlifting and has won two silver medals in local competitions.

Very good equipment, felt very smooth on my teeth. Also very fast. However I received a text reminder telling me it was time to come in but they weren't ready to do my deep clean or wisdom tooth extraction. Also, they didn't mention when I arrived that they planned on rendering the other services at all.

I had a very positive experience with this dental clinic. I just relocated to Cali and had no dentist that I knew and I had a bad toothache. Called in and the staff were more than helpful. I was seen the same day! Also, the dentist did her best to save the tooth nerve and avoid a crown and root canal , which is not so often happens these days! And the bill was very fair for the service I've got. I was surprised. I ended up coming back for a full checkup and cleaning . I'd definitely recommend the clinic .

As always, Dr. Noorian and her staff are superb. They are so attentive, friendly, and they spend extra time to make sure the examination is thorough and comprehensive. I would highly recommend Dr. Noorian and this practice to anyone that needs dental care.

I highly recommend Smile Craft. I have visited them twice and have always been treated very well. I have not required any treatment over routine examinations and x-rays - so I know that I have not been recommended any unnecessary treatment.
