Born in Ohio, Dr. Ashley Joves moved to Fremont, CA at the age of four. She graduated from UC Davis with a B.S. in Psychobiology - which may explain her passion for interpersonal communication and the psychology behind anxiety and fear.
Following graduation, she worked in a private dental office in the Bay Area and fell in love with dentistry. She pursued her passion and was accepted to NYU College of Dentistry, fulfilling her lifelong dream to live in Manhattan. During her time in New York, she was captivated by the food, wine, music, art and culture.
After graduating with honors from NYU, she completed a one-year general practice residency at Abington Memorial Hospital in Philadelphia. As one of only three residents chosen for this competitive program, she received extensive training in all aspects of general dentistry: restorative (fillings), fixed and removable prosthodontics (crown and bridge), orthodontics (braces and Invisalign), pediatrics, oral surgery, periodontics (soft tissue/gums), endodontics (root canals), cosmetic and implant therapy.
Dr. Ashley is passionate about staying on the leading edge of dentistry and invests hundreds of hours into ongoing training each year. She recently completed a four-month continuum specializing in implant dentistry through Implant Seminars. She is also pursuing a fellowship in implant dentistry through The International Dental Implant Association.
Dr. Ashley is an active member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Sacramento District Dental Society, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Academy of General Dentistry, and Doctors for Oral Conscious Sedation.
Beyond Smile & Co., she is a wife to her college sweetheart, Brian, and a doting mother to their two young rambunctious boys, Hudson and Brady. She loves to share stories of her latest foodie extravaganzas, travel experiences and #momlife struggles and invites you to do the same! She cant wait to meet you!

Steve G. I went there again today 11/3/22 and again from the moment you walk in, to the time you leave and "everything" in-between they are "very friendly", extremely knowledgeable and show you the utmost concern for your comfort or questions you might have. They have the "state of the art" equipment and know how to use it. They are also very aware of the current COVID conditions and take all the necessary precautions to protect your health and theirs. Nobody including myself "likes" to go to the Dentist...but when and if you need to go---you for sure can not do any better than Smile & Co.

The best dentist office of all time. I've been going here for the last five years and I won't go anywhere else. They are welcoming, genuinely know their patients, and truly have the most state of the art dentistry around. Every time I go there, there's a new approach that makes it more comfortable for me. They did it again the place where I'm not afraid to go ! I have been onto different dental offices and for the first time I feel I was treated like a person and not as a cash machine, the procedures were explain to me in advance without surprises and I feel confident that I was in good hands. I highly recommend dr. Ashley and her team. I personally assure that you won't regret choosing this dentist for your personalized dental needs!

I had an urgent issue with a tooth and called in to see if they could help me. I had never been there before but I've heard great things about Ashley and her staff from a close friend. They were able to get me in and help me. They didn't care that I had never been there before and cared more about taking care of me. I now have the membership and will continue going.

This place is literally the best dentist I've ever been too! Everyone is always so happy and nice! I don't get as nervous going here as I would with other dentists I've been to in the past. If I could give them more then 5 stars I would because they have all earned it! I won't be going anywhere else ever again. I've had a lot of work done and can truly say I have the best smile I've ever had in my life, I find myself walking around just smiling since I now have an amazing smile! I can't stress enough how amazing this place and the people that work here truly are! I would recommend smile and co over any other place I've ever been! Thanks for my perfect smile!!!!

I wanted to wait until the second time I went before writing a review. The doctors and assistants/hygienists here are so warm and comforting along with doing an amazing thorough job. I have anxiety and this sort of Care is important to me. On top of this they are always upfront and seem to get me in when I need to even for emergencies.

I went in today to have 2 cavities filled and for a cleaning. I'm always full of anxiety when I go to the Dentist but Dr. Tiffany makes everything better! She is so calming and works so fast. Also the staff is so helpful and knowledgeable. I've been going to Smile and Co since they opened and won't go anywhere else! Thanks Smile and Co for making me feel better about going to the Dentist

Most wonderful staff!! Everyone was so kind and sweet, I absolutely loved Dr Ashley!! She is so kind, personable and knowledgeable!! My consultation was so wonderful I am likely going to start my primary care at this office as well as invisilign and potential veneers/composite bonding! I highly recommend 10/10!!

The workers here are very kind and welcoming. Everyone I interacted with made sure my comfort was their priority. I had a filling done here and the dentist let me know they could give me a break at any time. At one point my head was uncomfortable in the chair and they gave me a pillow. No complaints!

I live with anxiety disorder, and I can have debilitating panic attacks. I have an emotional support dog that goes with me everywhere, to help me to calm down, when I'm experiencing an attack. I knew that I had a few fillings that needed work, as well as, I had two new cavities. My best friend recommended "Smile and Company", knowing that they would give me exceptional care. I unfortunately did start to have a panic attack while we were just starting my treatment. Instead of pushing forward, I was given a cozy blanket, a movie to watch, and time alone with my dog, although I was continuously checked on for my well being. When I was calm we were able to move forward, and I was shown kindness, patience, and considerate care, more than I have ever experienced. Most importantly I did not feel judged but instead comforted. If you are anxious about going to see the dentist, please come to "Smile and Company". You will be treating with respect, joy, compassion, and acceptance. Let alone, the atmosphere is beautiful, and the technology used is top notch. If I could give five more stars I would.

I love Smile & Co. I have been going there for a little over a year since moving back to the area. The entire staff is wonderful. It is obvious they love their coworkers, where they work, and what they do. And, my teeth and gums are very healthy! I highly recommend Smile & Co to anyone who wants a dentist who truly, truly puts a smile on your face!
