I can't recommend Midtown Smile Center enough. I'm intensely phobic about the dentist and had very positive experiences with both my cleaning and fillings. I will be going back regularly and recommending them to friends and family.

Dr. Wingfield specializes in evidence-based dentistry with a focus on helping patients achieve balanced oral and systemic health. Adept in all facets of Comprehensive Dentistry from routine fillings and crowns to full mouth reconstruction, Dr. Wingfield is committed to establishing a stable foundation of health through dentistry and boosting self-confidence through a gorgeous smile.
Inspired to pursue a career in dentistry by his family dentist in his hometown of Bowling Green, Kentucky, Dr. Wingfield attended Western Kentucky University where he graduated Cum Laude, earning a Bachelor of Science. He continued his educational endeavors at the University of Louisville and in 2000 graduated with the title of the Academy of Operative Dentistrys Student of the Year and his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree.
Soon after, Dr. Wingfield launched his career with the United States Navy Dental Corps and graduated with top honors from their Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program. During his four years of service, he had the unique opportunity to serve on the forward-deployed Bravo Surgical Company in Operation Iraqi Freedom. It was there that Dr. Wingfield was able to fine-tune his craft under the most extreme situations and had his skills tested when he encountered a young Iraqi boy who had just suffered severe facial injuries during a raid on his neighborhood.
Dr. Wingfield expertly cared for and treated the boy, and in that defining moment, he knew that he had the opportunity to truly and positively impact the quality of life for his patients. Dr. Wingfield received numerous awards including a Navy Commendation Medal and two Navy Achievement Medals.
Just as passionate about education as he is about dentistry, Dr. Wingfield has logged over 1,400 hours of Dental Continuing Education and served as Director of Education for Nanston Dental Group. His dedication to his craft has contributed to the Consumer Research Council of America naming him 'One of America 's Top Dentists' from 2005-2010.
Dr. Wingfield is a consultant for the 3M ESPE Council for Innovative Dentistry, which manufactures and markets more than 2,000 products and services designed to help dental professionals improve their patients oral health care, and lectures extensively on Periodontal Disease for Zila Pharmaceuticals.
Dr. Wingfield serves on the Board of Directors for the Georgia Academy of General Dentistry; is a member of the Hinman Dental Society, Fellow to the Academy of General Dentistry, an active member of North Georgia Dental Society, Georgia Dental Association, American Dental Association, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

My Dental Hygienist is Emeka she has been caring for my teeth and gums for the past 5 plus years. She knows her work and take pride and care in doing her job. Also she educate me along the way. I've follow her everywhere she's been thus far. I've also recommended friends and family to her.

I've been coming to Midtown Smile for years, for convenience. Once I was placed with Lazagna, I will never go anywhere else. She is the best hygienist and makes going to the dentist fun! They have a great overall team and practice. Check them out!

I have been a patient here for 10 years now and I could not recommend Dr. Nikain enough! She is the only Doctor that I will let work on my teeth from now on. Celina was also extremely diligent, professional and kind, and was a pro at fitting my crown. We didn't even have to readjust it! The office may go through some process changes here and there, but the staff is always professional and empathetic to your needs.

I started at Midtown Smiles because I followed my Hygienist Dez from her previous dental office. Dez and I have a relationship going back as far as 15 years. She has always taken good care of my dental health after I had oral surgery. I had ultra-sensitive teeth and Dez would always go the extra mile to make sure I was comfortable before she would do my routine cleanings. When I moved to Midtown Smiles, I thought to myself "this is crazy to drive across the city for a dentist" but after meeting Dr. Steven Wingfield I knew I would always get the best dental care and it would not be a lot of unnecessary treatments for them to make money. They are great team of dental providers and I will not go anywhere else (unless my Hygienist leave :-)).

Desiree James is and always will be my go to person when it comes to my teeth and or Dental Hygiene I have followed her where ever she goes from Corporate Square and I know that I've been with her over 25years or more she's very Professional and Personal at the same time letting you know what needs to happen and corresponding with the Doctor For the best actions that has happen to resolve my Dental Problem, she's always making sure that I make each and every appointment, I just can't express my Gratitude enough for her and your entire staff from the front office, Doctor And Most Definitely Desiree James I give all Stars If The Rating Was Higher She Would Get That Me. I've been coming to Midtown Smile Center for 5 years. It's a great office with professional and kind staff members. However, the main reason I rate this business so highly is because of my hygienist, Desiree. I followed Desiree from another practice because she genuinely cares about her patients and their dental health. She truly has helped me overcome my anxiety about going to the dentist. Desiree is awesome!!! I'm 30 years old and used to be absolutely terrified of getting my teeth cleaned. Desiree completely changed how I feel about the dentist though, she is so nice and gentle and great at her job. I don't mind getting me teeth cleaned at all now. The first time I saw her, I hadn't gotten my teeth cleaned in about 5 years, so I was dreading how bad it was going to be. I was worried for nothing though because it was honestly the best cleaning experience I've ever had in my life! I was so surprised and thrilled at how easy and painless it was! She was super understanding and helped me stay calm the whole time. I definitely won't be skipping my 6 month cleanings from now on!
