Dr. Renata Regalado was born in Poland in a small town named Lubsko, which is within ten miles of the Poland-German border. She came to the United States at the age of 15 to visit her sister and fell in love with America. In 1989, she left Poland to make America her new home. Dr. Regalado graduated from high school in Alton, Illinois, where she mastered the English language. Always knowing that she wanted to enter the health profession, she went to college and graduated from SIUE with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in chemistry.
After completing her undergraduate studies, she decided to pursue a career in dentistry and entered SIU School of Dental Medicine in Alton, Illinois. Four years later, she graduated at the top of her class with a Doctorate of Dental Medicine. Dr. Regalado worked as a general dentist for a period of two years after which she decided that she wanted to dedicate her life to creating straight and beautiful smiles. She and her family moved to New York, where she attended the St. Barnabas Hospital Orthodontic Residency.
Dr. Regalado is an active member in the American Association of Orthodontists, Midwest Society of Orthodontists, Greater St. Louis Dental Society, American Dental Association and the Christian Medical and Dental Association.
Dr. Regalado is very committed to providing personal and high-quality orthodontic care to all of her patients. She enjoys orthodontics very much. She hopes to be a positive role model to her patients and encourage and inspire some of them to pursue a career in the profession she so much lovesorthodontics!
Aside from her professional career, Dr. Regalado is a loving wife to her husband David and most importantly, a mom to a wonderful little girl named Gabriella and an awesome little boy, Andrew. She likes to spend her free time gardening, reading, crafting, shopping, and traveling. She also enjoys photography.
