Dr Cory Johnston is a Utah County native attending Orem High School, Utah Valley University, and Brigham Young University. He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine at the Temple University Kornberg school of Dentistry in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. He graduated in 2010 with honors in Oral surgery and Stomatognathic honor societies. With a particular interest in surgery, Dr Cory continued his studies in implant and bone grafting through the prestigious Misch implant institute.
His journey from Philadelphia proceeded to Denver Colorado where Dr. Johnston was able to continue his training in modern dentistry working with digital scanning, design, and milling same day crowns. He was also able to learn the most up-to-date root canal therapy, laser therapy, Invisalign clear aligner therapy, and treatment planning.
Dr. Johnstons true passion is life has been serving others in need. While in dental school, he was able to travel to Haiti and spend a week treating dental infections and dental emergencies. These experiences have changed his life. He was able to return as a faculty member and help other new dental professionals serve our Haitian brothers and sisters. One of his goals has been to participate in some form of outreach either native or abroad every two years.
Dr. Johnston is committed to a lifelong pursuit of education in the dental field participating in the Rogue Excellence Study Club, which is a chapter of the prestigious Seattle Study Club. He is a member of the ADA, ODA, previously serving in the Rogue Valley Dental Society leadership, and recently joined the American Academy of Facial Esthetics offering treatment is Botox, Dermal fillers, and TMJ and Facial Pain Therapy.

They were super professional and very nice. They answered all my questions, gave me lots of options for treatment, and took care of everything. I feel very taken care of and I definitely recommend them! I'm really picky about doctors/dentists, cause I've had some bad experiences, but they were super awesome and I didn't feel anxious at all. We've been patients of Dr. Jones for 20 years. You will not find a better dentist anywhere. He has an amazing personality that will really put your mind at ease. He is an expert in his field. The staff is friendly and there are smiles on everyone's faces, kinda like they enjoy their work. Dr. Johnson is new but I've had the opportunity to see him a few times and he is very delightful as well. I would highly recommend the Smile Center of Utah.

I just had my first visit today and I couldn't be happier. I have always dreaded going to the dentist but this time was so different. I genuinely feel like they care. Not only are they very transparent about everything (prices, procedures, etc) they also educated me on dental heigeine. They make me want to take better care of my teeth :) definitely never want to leave!

I have been going to this office since I was 3 years old and I am now 22 and all of the staff is so kind, friendly, and most of all helpful. Dr. Jones has been the best dentist I've ever had and now I am currently doing Clear Correct with Dr. Johnston. He is making sure that I get the best results from my plan and is equally as kind and dedicated to helping me with my dental needs. From the moment you walk in the door the front staff is always so nice and welcoming. The hygienists and dental assistants are very friendly and make sure you're comfortable and all your concerns or questions will be addressed during your visit. Both Doctors really care about their patients and you couldn't ask for a better place to go to for dental work.
