Dentistry is an opportunity to help others. Working with so many wonderful people is both rewarding and challenging. The reward is helping each person achieve their best oral health and a smile they love. The challenge is finding the right treatment approach for each person, based on their personal and clinical needs. Thankfully, I love both!

I care so much about each patient, as a person. I treasure our conversations and the bonds that develop between us. Our conversations, as we share stories and experiences, teach me so much about the world and broaden who I am as a person. I look forward to each persons visits as a time to renew and strengthen our friendship.

When I was a senior in high school, my family dentist invited me to job shadow him for a day. I knew, after that experience, that dentistry was the right fit for me. I am happy to spend my days solving my patients problems. Whether they want to improve their smile, have function issues, or are in pain, I can fix the situation and have them smiling again!

At the Smile Center, my team and I offer a warm and inviting atmosphere, where dental care is something to be excited about. We are equipped to handle every dental situation that comes through our doors and deliver the best care to keep smiles on each patients face.

Continuing education is a large part of my commitment to my patients and my profession. Dentistry is always evolving. New approaches to treatment, along with advances in technology and techniques, mean more options and even stronger results. I want to exceed my patients expectations, ensuring they get the best care for their smiles. Continuing education makes that happen.

Being active in the community is a way of giving back to the people whove helped me become the person I am. Im an active member of Quitman First United Methodist Church and have volunteered at the Jackson Free Clinic. Ive also participated in mission trips to Matamoros Childrens Home in Matamoros, Mexico.

I grew up in Quitman, MS, and still call it home. My life is shared with Luke, a golden retriever. Away from the office, Im often found at a sporting event, mainly baseball and football. I also enjoy hunting, fishing, and playing golf. If Im not outdoors, Im probably spending time with my nephew, Drake.

Ill help you during visits, making sure youre comfortable in the chair, preparing you to see Dr. Weathers, and explaining what will happen. Then Ill assist the doctor while keeping you updated. At the end, Ill provide post-op instructions, answer questions, and make sure youre happy with everything.

Family is the most important thing in my life. My life is shared with my husband, Mike, andwe have a son, Travis, along with two grandchildren, Joe and Harley. I enjoy fishing and traveling and exploring the history of the United States.

My husband David and I have a son, Ryan, and two boxers. I love being outdoors, especially running. I also like traveling, cooking, shopping, and time with family. Im a member of the Junior Auxiliary and St. Patricks Catholic Church.

Welcome to our office! I began here in 2012 after earning my dental hygiene degree from Meridian Community College in 1994. My days consist of cleaning teeth, taking diagnostic images, and providing education on how to achieve and maintain good oral health. I love meeting new people and helping them to feel at home in our fun, friendly office.
