Welcome to Smile Center of Knightsville! For over 14 years, our dentist and team have helped patients of all ages improve their oral health and achieve beautiful, confident smiles. We offer a full range of dental services, including same-day dental crowns, Invisalign clear aligners and ClearCorrect, and will work one-on-one with you to help you reach your smile goals. We strive to maintain a comfortable environment where you can feel at ease and to make your experience with us as pleasant as possible.
Dr. Gourdine completed her Bachelor of Science in biology and chemistry at Claflin University before attending Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine, from which she graduated in 2004. She completes additional continuing education courses annually. As a dentist, Dr. Gourdine is committed to providing quality, comprehensive dental care for patients of all ages.
Dr. Gourdine has practiced in the Summerville area for over 15 years. In addition to her dental degree and training, she has also completed a Master of Business Administration through Clemson University. Outside the office, her hobbies include reading, traveling and volunteering.

I've been visiting this dental office for years and I've always loved them. NOt sure what's transpired over the past year, but I'm NOT happy. I've been having issues ever since the top of the year with 2 teeth and been getting nothing but the runaround, yet spending unnecessary money when it comes down to handling everything. I've now had to transfer to another dentist letting me know that there have been charges billed to my insurance that I'm unaware of. And an endo is now telling me my root canal has to be redone/retreated. I'm highly disappointed and NOT happy.

It seemed like I had something wrong every time I went. They told me I had 7 cavities (one of them was allegedly under a filling that THEY did) and were extremely rude about it, too. I couldn't believe that, so I went to a different dentist who said I had nothing wrong with my teeth!

I just switched dentist and am being told the $1000+ onlay that was done was unnecessary. and there was decay under it that the new dentist just took care of. I liked Mrs. as my dentist but the onlay was her call. Twice Mr. told me I needed something. Went back to do and Mrs. says we do NOT need to do it. Mrs. said she could make my cap last longer. Did procedure. 1 week later my cap fell off and I had to get tooth pulled. And I paid for both. They use top of line equipment and guess who is paying for it. Sorry I didn't leave before this.

First time here and all I had was a consultation, but it was the BEST experience I have ever had with a dentist. The wife was gentle and sweet. She explained everything really really well. Will definitely be going back for future work!

Very nice staff. I came in with an emergency and needed a flipper and they delivered in 2 hrs. They're very generous I just wish they WOULD BE OPEN ALL WEEK.

I've brought my 15 yr old son here since he was about 4 or 5 yrs old (We moved and then came back home to SC) My 8 yr old son has special needs and also has been coming here since his first tooth! They're so awesome, I gave up my childhood dentist to be their patient too! They're always patient, friendly, understanding, and go above and beyond to ensure the best of care - **Regardless of what insurance you do or do not have** Staff is friendly, knowledgeable, & always has the patients best of instrest in mind!!
