Dr. Hooman Hakimi has built his practice with the philosophy of providing quality, comprehensive care for the entire family. He prides his practice on focusing on the oral health needs of his patients and performing needs based dentistry with a gentle touch. Dr. Hakimi has called Southern California home for the past 30 years and has been serving the local community since 2001. He received both his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychobiology and his dental degree and training from the University California, Los Angeles (UCLA). After graduating in 2001, Dr. Hakimi has been a proud member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and the Harbor Dental Society. Dr. Hakimi is well trained in all aspects of dentistry, with a special focus in Invisalign (clear braces) and Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. Hakimi enjoys many activities including traveling, hiking and playing sports. He is constantly finding new hiking trails and loves playing basketball and beach volleyball in the summer time. However, most of all he enjoys spending time and traveling with his family and friends.

Smile Dental is a great place to get all your dental work done! Dr Hooman H. Is great and takes personal pride in his work. I've been getting my dental work done here for many years now and have always been satisfied. It was a very pleasant experience every time I had to get dental work. Fast, gentle and efficient!

Dr. Hakimi and the staff at Smile Center Dental are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G and will change your mind about any dread, fear or reservations of visiting the dentist. Before I started coming to Smile Center Dental a few years ago, I would dread visiting the dentist. I haven't worried about a dental appointment since I started coming here. First, the office is so warm and welcoming which takes half the stress of the visit off! Second, Dr. Hakimi and his staff are so gentle and caring when it comes to making sure you are painless and comfortable which helps getting any work done easier. I've done everything here from my routine cleanings to cavity fillings and even getting my wisdom teeth pulled out by an amazing oral surgeon. Dr. Hakimi even put me on Invisalign to straighten a few of my teeth which has been a lifesaver! The best part of this office is that they take my insurance! If you're in the market for a new dentist, Dr. Hakimi and the staff at Smile Center Dental are the solution to your problem, as they were the answer to my prayers. Highly recommend!

Dr. Hakimi and team are the best! I had a cleaning today and have implants scheduled in a few weeks. They are professional, personable and thorough in sharing information about your procedures in an understandable way. I was referred to Dr. Hakimi and I heartily recommend Smile Center Dental for all of your dental needs!

I was reluctant to see the dentist in the midst of a pandemic. However, when I arrived everything was clean, wearing a mask was required and your temperature is taken before you are seen. It was like seeing an old friend again. I was in and out in 30min.

I went to Smile Center a few weeks ago for work on multiple teeth. The doctor was real patient with me , vergy gentile and attentive. I had explaned to him my fears of the dental chair and he was very caring to that. He walked me through the process. When I got there I did not have to wait more than a few minutes to sit and I was done before I knew it. The staff was friendly and professional and the office was nice. I laready made my next appointment!

Dr. Hakimi has been my dentist for many years. There's a reason for that---He is the best at his profession. He's performed a lot of dental procedures on me and I have been happy with all of them. Also a big plus - his work is painless! Another plus? He has a great staff - very friendly and efficient.

One of the best dental offices in Bellflower. The primary dentist is kind, understanding, professional, and informative. The location is super clean and they follow Covid 19 precaution guidelines. The front desk staff is always pleasant and greets all costumers with a smile. They also provide payment plans and do not send you to collections for a late payment. I absolutely recommend Smile Center Dental to everyone.

Money hungry dentist! BEWARE!! I had a horrible experience here. The hygienist said my teeth were great and she was going to come in to clean after the dentist spoke with me. The dentist comes in and says I need deep cleaning and it'll be $200 on top of what my insurance will pay and I'll have to make an appointment for another day. My husband and the hygienist both looked at me like what is he talking about. So when I went to the counter to check their availability I saw their water pik and other items in the showcase. The dentist comes running out trying to sell the items, all of the sudden he had all the time in the world... I went elsewhere for a second opinion and they said my teeth were fine, no deep cleaning needed. What a rip off this place!
