Dr. Eun Sun Hwang knew from a young age that she wanted to become a dentist. After high school, she attended the University of Maryland College Park where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry. She received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. During dental school, she was elected to the Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) national dental honor society. It was a huge honor for Dr. Hwang because faculty votes only a handful of students who have distinguished themselves by excellence in scholarship, while demonstrating exemplary traits of character to join OKU. Dr. Hwang continued her training in post-graduate residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the University of Maryland, where she received special training in cosmetic dentistry. When she realized her passion for treating children, Dr. Hwang earned her specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry from the University of Maryland.

Dr. Hwang is happily married to her husband Stephen, who works at Patuxent Naval Air Station. Together they have two daughters named Olivia and Sophia. As a parent to two youngsters, she knows the challenges that raising a child can bring. She wants parents to feel comfortable asking her and her staff any questions about their childrens oral health. She loves working with children and wishes to have a positive impact on her patients by providing exceptional care and dental health education. In her free time, Dr. Hwang enjoys biking, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family.

Dr. Rohit Sethi, DDS, is a board eligible pediatric dentist. He received his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the College of Dental Sciences in Davangere, India, and his Doctor of Dental Surgery from New York University College of Dentistry in New York. He then went on to complete AEGD residency and two years of Pediatric Dental residency from NYU Langone Hospital. He then worked as a faculty with NYU Langone Hospital pediatric residency program in Maryland and is on the staff at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, Maryland. Before joining the Smile Castle Team, Dr. Sethi has also worked for multiple years, mainly providing dental care for children. Dr. Sethi is fluent in Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu. He is working at our Smile Castle clinic in California, Maryland.

Dr. Sethi is happily married and has one son. Dr. Sethi enjoys providing dental care to children and during his spare time, he enjoys outdoor activities with his son and spending time with his family and friends.

Dr. Alexis is a native of eastern North Carolina. After earning her bachelors degree from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, and she went on to pursue her childhood dream of becoming a dentist at Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry in Nashville, TN. She then continued her training by completing a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency program in North Carolina before relocating to Maryland to practice as a general dentist.

Dr. Alexis practiced for 3 years, and then her passion for treating children motivated her to obtained specialized training in Pediatric Dentistry. She completed her pediatric dentistry residency program at East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine in Greenville, NC and is now proudly treating children and educating parents on the importance of oral health and hygiene.

When away from the office, Dr. Alexis enjoys spending time with her husband, family and friends. She loves to read and travel, and is a self-proclaimed foodie who also loves cooking and trying new restaurants. She is so excited to join the team, and cant wait to see your smiling faces!

As Office Manager at Smile Castle, Carlie says, 'She loves working for a dentist that shares the same values and love for children as she does. Working for Dr. Hwang is so rewarding!' She strives to ensure all of our patients are taken care of from the moment they walk in the door. Carlie graduated from Salisbury University with a Bachelor 's Degree in Biology. 'Go Gulls!' In her spare time, she likes being outdoors; laying by the pool, boating, and spending time with family and friends.

Danielle has been in the dental field since 2011, first starting as an assistant and then transitioning to the front office. She is our treatment coordinator for our office and would be happy to help with any questions regarding insurance or treatment options. She loves working with children and has a passion for the dental field. In Danielles free time she enjoys baking cakes and spending time with family and friends.

Skyler attended the College of Southern MD for the dental assisting course and has her Maryland Dental Radiology license. She has experience working with children of all ages and has been a dental assistant for our office since 2018. In her free time, she enjoys being a mom, shopping, and being outside.

Anna attended the dental assisting class at the local tech center her junior and senior year of high school. She passed her Maryland Radiology Exam License in 2020 and is one of the main assistants who help at St. Mary's Hospital for Dental surgeries. She enjoys being apart of the Smile Castle team and learning new things each day. On her free time she likes to go shopping with her mom or spending time with her two dogs, Mia and Zeus.

Diana has always been passionate about children, when recently changing her career path to dentistry, she was very happy and excited to become apart of a pediatric office! She completed the dental assistant program at the College of Southern Maryland. She has her CPR certification and plans to soon get my oral radiology certification. She also plans to one day further her career in dentistry to become a dental hygienist. In her free time she loves spending time with loved ones and playing with her fur baby, Ace.

Keydi graduated from the local tech center and has been in the dental field since 2018. She has experience in General Dentistry and recently switched to Pediatric Dentistry. She says Im so happy to be apart of an awesome team! She intends to further her education in the future and become a hygienist. In her free time she enjoys going on adventures with her boyfriend, Alex and spending time with family and friends.

Kelly attended the dental assisting program at the local tech center her Junior and Senior year of High school, where she received her CPR certification. She plans to further her career in the dental field by completing her oral radiology certification. Kelly says, 'She is so excited to join a fun team in a career field she is passionate about. During her free time she loves to spend time shopping, or the water with her family, friends and two dogs.

Lexi attended and graduated from the local tech center for dental assisting in 2018. Now she wants to pursue a career in Dental Hygiene for Pediatric Dentistry. She says 'I greatly appreciate working in a super welcoming and friendly environment.' She intends on furthering her education at University of Maryland. In her free time she enjoys working out and traveling.

Jessica has been a Registered Dental Assistant since 2018, in General dentistry. She love kids and wanted to make the switch to Pediatric Dentistry! She also loves spending time with her husband, son & their dog Mila! During her spare time she also enjoys shopping & doing DIY furniture projects.

Juliet attended the dental assisting course and achieved her CPR certificate at the College of Southern Maryland. She plans to gain experience and knowledge to later become a dental hygienist in the future. On her free time she loves to spend time with her family and pets.

Savanna graduated from University of Maryland School of Dentistry with a Bachelors of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. She is a licensed dental hygienist and certified in local anesthesia, nitrous oxide and gingival curettage. She was awarded the Clinical Excellence award for outstanding delivery of total patient care. She says 'I am very passionate about educating patients on the importance of good overall oral hygiene' She is excited to join the Smile Castle team and work in a pediatric office. She currently lives in Southern Maryland and enjoys boating, traveling and playing with her dog Cali.

Hannah is a licensed dental hygienist who is very excited about joining the Smile Castle team and working with children. She is passionate about educating children and parents in oral healthcare. She enjoys being outdoors, whether it be on the boat or out on a hike, as long as she can bring her three dogs!

Samantha earned her Dental Hygiene degree in 2018 from Fortis College. She has worked in pediatric dentistry since 2012, also having experience in general dentistry. Educating patients on dental hygiene and keeping the patients comfortable is what she strives to achieve. Spending time with her family and being outside is how she likes to enjoy her free time.
