Very fast getting in the chair and being seen. I had a skilled hygienist Jose and dr. Robert I can tell is very through. Glad to be a patient here

I'm the biggest chicken when it comes to going to the dentist and the thought of having any work done basically just throws me into a panic! With all that said I had put off getting my veneers replaced for a very very long time! I finally had the work done and I didn't have to be fully sedated, actually only took Tylenol once after the procedure and the result is beyond what I expected! Dr Hedvat is so patient and loves his work so he takes his time and does everything the way it should be. It makes a huge difference who your dentist is!! Staff are very helpful too! I no longer out off dental work and have a scheduled cleaning done by Jose who is also exceptional at what he does! Thank you all for my beautiful smile

This is a superb dental office. Dr. Hedvat truly cares about what he does with your teeth. He is also mild mannered and calming which is important for a dentist. He has a soft touch with the needle. My experience is that he always goes above and beyond. The hygienists do a really good job. One is very very particular, and you know your teeth are clean when he is done with you. All the staff is very kind, and Amanda runs a great front office. After posting this review , I looked over other reviews and came back to add a little more. From time to time I exceed what my insurance allows. They have always giving me a "heads up " in regards to what I was having to pay out of pocket. I even chose to do Invisalign to correct my bite and have trays (retainer) at night to protect my teeth from grinding. I new up front the cost. They wanted half down when we started and the other half six months or so later. I even forgot my card the day I was to pay and they said that they would get me the next time. Now, granted by then they new me pretty well and realized I would not stiff them. I hope this is helpfully to someone.

I usually have an INTENSE fear of dentists. The last dentist I went to was condescending and rude, so I tried Smile Care Valencia on a recommendation. I was SO happy I did. They were nice and understanding and worked with my financial situation. The next time I went, I had no anxiety at all and that was during a root canal with Dr. Levi. He is is super funny and nice guy, very knowledgeable. I had two root canals done in one sitting and didn't feel a single thing. That numbing stuff they give you does miracles. Dr. Hedvat did my crowns and did a GREAT job! I was able to smile after having a damaged front tooth for 7 years! I could not believe how beautiful my smile looked after was finished with the work! He is very friendly and nice. He Knows what he's doing and how to make patients comfortable when they have severe anxiety towards dentists. He took his time and made it much easier for me to decide to go to the dentist instead of just trying to deal with the pain. I will travel from across town to see them. They are wonderful! He is a professional and compassionate dentist. The front desk staff is also very nice, and very accommodating. I have been nervous of the dentist for quite some time in my life, and they've slowly won me over.

After my check up appointment a few months ago, I broke a tooth last weekend, called the office on Monday morning. The receptionist was very kind and informative, she completely understood my urgency and fit me in the schedule the same afternoon. I ended up needing a major restoration. Their schedule was busy, but Dr. Robert was very kind and patient. He knew I have dental anxiety and took his time to explain and show me the model and diagram how the procedure was done and answered all my questions and he was able to fix the broken tooth. The knowledge and time taken to show and explain the issue was superior. He was very gentle during the procedure, I barely felt anything. Everyone in the office was friendly and knowledgeable, they took great care of me, I'm very happy how they handled my emergency. It took my whole life, but now I know going to a dentist does not have to be a terrifying experience anymore and my teeth are no longer a burden. Thanks, Smile Care Valencia team! I will highly recommend them to my friends!

Never been a fan of visiting the Dentist office until now. I have been in the office five times in the last month for different procedures and have yet to have a bad experience. Dr. Hedvant and the entire office staff are kind and considerate but very informative. I have been able to book appointments without a struggle. I was able to book a same day appt for toothache and have scheduled appointments both in the morning and in the afternoon without struggling with availability.

Update : I'm extremely happy with my visits. Everything went extremely well. I'm so happy my mom referred me here. She's been bragging about Dr. Hedvat for years and I finally got a chance to have an appointment with him. I feel like he was truly genuine and didn't try to get me to get so many things fixed. Straight to the point. Very informative and gave me the best suggestions. Maria was also awesome. Very patient went over all payment options with me. Helped walk me through the process in applying for the care credit card. We got the appointments scheduled and everything went so smooth. Going to the dentist isn't always stressful, scary, or nerve wrecking. My experience actually gave me a peace of mind and i felt well taken care of. Thank you to everyone in the office.

Last summer I needed a dentist fast but everyone was booked. Dr. Hedvat at Smile Care Valencia had openings. He was very pleasant, but he only did the bare minimum, which surprised me. A partial exam, partial x-rays, then removed two teeth & quoted me for the future work I would need, about $8000 worth. I developed an infection which required a different course of antibiotics & it resolved. His manager Amanda informed me that they needed to be paid up front for the future work... they charged my card $2900 & took $100 cash ($965 for that day & $2,305 toward future work) & then told me they would not do future work without an additional $4,575. She then refused to charge my dental insurance because they would get paid less than if they billed me (she actually said that out loud). That day's work was 100% covered by my insurance, but they charged me $965. Due to this I went to another dentist & had all my future work done & I paid them for the future work instead. I just found out, 4/2/22, Dr. Hedvat sent a claim of $4,575 (for work he never did) to a collection company & they put it on my credit report as a late unpaid debt in collections. My credit dropped over 40 points from good to close to poor (I had a perfect payment history with no collections up until this). Now I am a subprime borrower & have been forced to file a lawsuit against him & his collection company for this egregious conduct seeking damages & the monies they took from me in the beginning. His collection company told me, they were told by "Smile Care Valencia", the debt was for work already performed! I advise anyone who is considering this dentist to be aware of my experience and hopefully avoid the problems this doctor can bring into your life down the line when you least expect it.

Dr. Hedvat and the team are great! They are friendly, patient and professional. If you have dental issues they explain what exactly is causing the issue and go into detail of the recommended treatment plan. Thank you Dr. Hedvat and team!

The office staff are super nice and welcoming. Dr. Hedvat took his time to explain the types of tree t i needed and made sure I understood. Sometimes going to see a dentist is always scary, but that isn't the case at Smile Care Valencia.

This was my first time visiting Smile Care. I have terrible dental anxiety and wanted to give it a try after reading all the past reviews. I was not disappointed! Everyone was so kind and understanding, walked me through my treatment step-by-step, and gave me a great option for payment. I really appreciated being shown my x-rays and pictures of my teeth, as well. Dentists always seem to make it a mystery, and it really eased my anxiety being so well-informed by Dr. Hedvat. I also love the little office puppy who came to check on me! Please go here if you are scared of the dentist.

Regarding Invisalign Treatment. My bottom teeth were so crowded and crooked. I had one tooth that was almost lateral. It was impossible to keep the gums healthy because the toothbrush could not reach the gums as well. I went forward with Dr. Robert Hedvat's recommendation to straighten my. He was so careful and conscientious to ensure that the adjustment would be correct in bite and straight teeth. My teeth are now straight and my bite is good. The aligners were comfortable and the entire process was worth it. Thank you Dr. Hedvat and Staff.

I can't express enough how grateful I'm towards the entire Smile Care Valencia team for helping me achieve a confident smile. From the moment I called to booked my first appointment, everyone was caring and empathetic. They always made me feel welcome and well taken care of. I would like to highlight the amazing work done by Dr Robert Hedvat whom I completed my Veneers with. Since I traveled all the way from Orange County for my treatments, Dr Hedvat was attentive and flexible regarding my appointments, especially with some Saturday appointments to avoid the crazy LA traffic. My entire journey lasted around 1 month. After teeth whitening and composite bonding in some back teeth and straightening out some minor things, Dr Hedvat remade my smile using veneers I'm beyond happy with it. I feel so much more confident and I can't thank Dr Robert Hedvat enough. I recommend this clinic so much that my mother and 2 friends have had their treatments performed there and absolutely love the clinic. The clinic is very modern with a luxurious touch. The entire team is amazing and I'll definitely continue my smile maintenance here.
