We utilize the best equipment sterilization techniques available to dentists. We have a modern sterilization system Smile Brite Dental Care that exceeds OSHA requirements. The source of water for our dental units is distilled water (bottled water). This removes any chances for contamination from regular tap water, which is used in most dental offices.

Delaware Dentist Dr. Taurance Bishop is a graduate of Howard University Dental School which is recognized as one of the best in the country. He has been a dentist for years. Dr. Bishop has completed several post-graduate courses in different fields of dentistry since receiving his D.D.S degree. He also completed a general practice residency at Delawares Christiana Care Hospital.
Dr. Bishops emphasis on patient comfort as well as keeping up-to-date with the latest advancements in dentistry enables him to provide his patients with the highest quality of dental care. Dr. Bishop has a wide range of experience in different areas of dentistry which include cosmetic and restorative dentistry, extractions, implants and root canal treatments.
We first take impressions of your teeth, bite registrations, photographs, and x-rays. We send these materials, accompanied by a treatment plan, to the laboratory. The lab then creates the alignersa set of precisely customized, clear molds. Each aligner is worn for about two weeks, and youll remove them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss.
About every two weeks, you will replace the aligner with the next one in the series. Your teeth will move, a little at a time until they are straightened to the desired position. About every six weeks, youll visit us so that we can ensure that your treatment is progressing appropriately.
It typically takes nine to 15 months to complete orthodontic treatment with Invisalign, during which time 18 to 30 aligners are used. The time it takes to complete treatment will vary according to your specific circumstances.

Kendra is an amazing hygenist! My 5 year old was terrified of getting her teeth cleaned and Kendra walked her through and explained every single step. She helped put her at ease. It was a great experience for both of us. She also helped detect a grinding issue that her previous dentist never noticed. I am forever grateful for her knowledge and expertise with the situation. I'll recommend her to everyone!! Looking forward to our next visit!

My son and I have been coming here for maybe 1-2yrs now and I'm glad I made that choice. As someone who neglected going to the dentist for years out of extreme fear and anxiety coming to Smile Brite puts that to rest a bit. I don't think I'll ever get over having needles in my mouth but the office staff and Dr Bishop and Dr Golshiri just put you at ease. They do an excellent job at explaining things and really going and your own pace to have things done. Everyone they recommended my son out to (oral surgeon, orthodontist) have been just as nice as the Smile Brite staff.

Awful customer service! The building is old and not well maintained. I arrived at my appointment within the grace period only to find that the elevator was out of order. Since I'm in a wheelchair, I had no way to reach their 2nd floor suite. There was no effort made to call maintenance or assist me in any way...and we were told we had to reschedule our appointment. To make matters worse, they had no appointments available until Oct (3 months later!) They don't have to worry about me ever coming back. Good riddance!

This used to be a great office. Now the customer service is just awful. All of the Dentists have left but the owner. Most recently I was contacted to make an appointment for a crown. The next appointment was 28 days out. I was quoted 400 dollars out of pocket after insurance. I asked did you also submit to my secondary insurance? I was told "ummmm no" but we will and we'll send you a check for the secondary payment. Oddly enough I said ok, then they wanted the $400 payment over the phone. I said I'll pay in the office on the day of my appointment and was told "no you need to pay over the phone or we can't schedule you. It's now a matter of principle. You ask for your payment in full 28 days early, knowing your were too blind and/or lazy to call this into my secondary insurance ahead of time as you did my primary . And then I'll get my money back in the mail lol. No thanks , bye I'll find a new dentist.

Staff is always courteous and professional. Always prompt and on time. Have never had to wait more than 10 minutes to be seen. Office is so clean you could eat off the floor. Dr. Bishop has always done exceptional work for me and has always been very kind and professional.
