Dr. Nwagwu was born in Dallas and raised in Houston, TX in a strong Nigerian family. Dr. Nwagwu is a graduate of the DeBakey High School for Health Professions. She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biomedical Science with a minor in Business from Texas A&M University-College Station. She began her career path in Washington, D.C. to pursue dentistry; where she earned her DDS degree from Howard University College of Dentistry.
After graduating, Dr. Nwagwu returned home to the Houston Metropolitan area to provide exceptional care to the community she loves and to be near family. Dr. Nwagwu is skillful in all aspects of general dentistry with a great liking towards Endodontic procedures. She furthers her education by attending conferences and participating in continuing education courses. Dr. Nwagwu maintains professional affiliations with the Greater Houston Dental Society, American Dental Association, and Texas Dental Association.

This dental office is one the best you'd come across in the greater Houston area. Dr. Nwagwu and her staff took great care of me and my family. They're very gentle and thorough. I highly recommend this place.

I was a bit anxious about coming to this clinic for the first time because of past experiences with uncaring doctors. However, my visit here was exceptional! Everyone there made me feel comfortable and confident in my decision. The women there was very approachable and caring. It is very obvious that they take pride in what they do and where they work because the office was well decorated and very clean. I will definitely be returning and refer family and friends to smile bright dental studio. Nothing but good vibes!

My experience with at Bright Dental Studio was amazing. Dr. Nwagwu makes her patients very comfortable while in and out the chair. She asked was okay several times during my treatment. She's very personable! The office is very clean with a great atmosphere. It's a good place to become a new patient.

My son went to Dr. Nwagwu about a year ago and he told us how much he liked her. She is the best! She makes me feel so comfortable, and this is not easy for me in a dentist office. Love this office! The Dr. Nwagwu is the best & so friendly! She is very knowledgeable and had a plan on which direction to go with the work i needed. Dental office are always so cold but with the heated massage chairs I stayed comfortable. The assistant was very nice and attentive. Checking out front desk new my insurance and what the cost was gonna be for me. I felt very comfortable with the whole visit and at peace when left. I definitely will be returning!

Dr nwagwu and miss Malik are amazing! The service is exceptional. Not only was I able to get quick appointment but doc was able to help with my treatment. Extra clean and beautiful office. The staff is understanding and friendly. Malik always makes me feel comfortable and is knowledgeable of the treatment plans I would recommend this to family and friends. Doc is amazing takes time to explain all options. Very caring staff.

I searched diligently for an African American dentist and I found one and I'm so glad that I held out and made my appt. Dr. Nwagwu is not only knowledgeable, but she is very nice, patient, personable and informative. Ms.Malik/office mgr/assistant is so very courteous and helpful and did an awesome job verifying and explaining my benefits and treatment plans. This is a nice new office with state of the art equipment. You cannot go wrong here.
