Dr. Daniel P. Jones specializes in Painless Dentistry. He believes that making the dental experience as comfortable as possible is a key element in empowering each patient to take an active role in their oral health. His conservative approach to dental problems and his emphasis on painless dentistry, combined with the most modern treatments and technology, provide the most comprehensive and comfortable dentistry possible. Entrusted by his father, Dr. Paul Jones, with the wisdom of 42 years of experience treating the local community, Dr. Daniel P. Jones is dedicated to maintaining a long tradition of dental excellence in the DC area.
He is the A graduate of Archbishop Carroll School and a proud alumnus of Howard University, where he obtained his B.S. degree in both Biology and Chemistry, and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Dr. Dan speaks fluent Portuguese and Spanish. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, the D.C. Dental Society, and one of the founding members of the D.C. SPEAR study club and GWADS (Greater Washington Academy of Dental Studies).
In his free time, Dr. Dan is an avid practitioner of the Japanese Martial Art of Shotokan Karate. Dr Dan has been practicing for over ten years and has now passed his black belt exam making him a first degree martial artist. His wife, Ligia was the reigning East Coast Champion for five consecutive years, from 2002 2006. She was crowned the U.S. Champion in 2003, and won a gold medal representing the U.S. in the 2004 Shotokan Karate Panamerican Tournament
Dr. Justin Jones, like his father and brother, is a graduate of Howard University School of Dentistry. Upon graduation, Dr. JJ completed a year of general residency in upstate New York and now returns to DMV area with a year experience at a pediatric clinic in Denver, Colorado. Dr JJ has a passion for dentistry with a goal to provide enjoyable, comfortable and calming dentistry to all of his patients. Treating patients of any age with a smile, Dr. JJ is excited to continue the tradition of dental excellence in DC.

Everyone in this office is professional, caring and kind. This past visit saw Emily and Dr. JJ and was once again impressed with how thorough the exam is and how much they care about me doing the right thing for my dental health. Dr. Dan is an exceptional dentist and the entire team is professional, warm, and friendly. I have been going to this office for dental care for over 30 years, first to Dr. Paul ( Dr. Dan's father) and now to Dr. Dan who is as positive, caring and skilled as was his father. If you have to go to the dentist, this is the dentist to go to.

Friendly, professional staff. I felt informed during my visit, and left knowing my mouth and teeth were clean. I made a future appointment to have more work done at the recommendation of my dentist; who had a discussion with me and showed me why so that I would not have issues in the future.

Dr. Jones and his entire team (special shout out to dental assistant Pedro!) are fantastic from from the exceptional customer service to the caring, gentile and always accurate dental work. I always feel welcome and comfortable at Smile Beautiful Dental. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my teeth. Excellent service all around!

Emily is a wonderful hygienist. She explains what she is doing and thoroughly answers all my questions. Dr. Dan and Dr. JJ are both terrific dentists. The atmosphere is very relaxing. The location is tops!

Good morning Smile Beautiful. Your staff are beautiful people inside and out. The doctors and the assistants are loving, caring people and supportive of my dental issues. They talk to me before, during, and after the process of caring for my teeth. They are concerned about what happens to my teeth and tell what problem areas that need to be dealt with. I also hear the positive compliments the doctor says to his assistant while drilling in my mouth. I moved to DC in the last year and needed to find a dentist for routine care. A couple of people recommended Smile Beautiful Dental and I am so glad they did. As a health care provider, I am VERY grateful for their good COVID-19 infection control procedures. The diagnostic services that I received is the most thorough exam I've ever had. Everything was explained by Dr. Justin Jones clearly. All of the staff are professional, friendly and efficient. I appreciate that forms and appointments can be done online. Great reminders for appointments via text. I cannot recommend this practice enough. Very grateful I found them!

Very very disappointed after waiting several weeks to see the hygienist and speaking with a representative about my insurance I was finally able to get an appointment. Only to leave work early (use my personal leave) travel to SW, find parking. . . I arrived, had to complete and update my records by completing EVERYTHING all over again like a new patient (I guess because it's been about 6 months or so since my last visit) but EVERYTHING - nothing has changed. . . That took 15 - 20 minutes , only to be told that it would $500 BEFORE I could be seen. I am disappointed because now I have to establish a new dentist. Unfortunately. I must say that I LOVED Smile Dental- their bedside manner, their care for the patients, excellent dental skills - I have been a faithful patient FOR YEARS!! And I have been "singing their praises" FOR YEARS!! It seems I have no other choice Today your rate is a 1
