Dr Amanda Denomme-Stough graduated from Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan with honors in a double major in French and German Language and Literature, and a minor in Biology. She is fluent in French and German. Dr Denomme-Stough received her Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry in 2006. She is a member of the ADA (American Dental Association), MDA (Michigan Dental Association), SWMDS (Southwestern Michigan Dental Society), and an Associate Fellow in the World Clinical Laser Institute. She also received training in Forensic Dentistry with the Wayne County Medical Examiners Office in Detroit, MI while at U of D Mercy.
Dr Stough has two children, a son, Ian, and daughter, Charlotte. She lives on a farm where she raises rabbits, pigs, sheep, goats,and even snakes. When shes not working or tending the farm, she enjoys the Detroit Tigers,traveling, snorkeling, tennis, and spending time with family and friends.
Stara started working at Smile Avenue in March of 2018 at the tender age of 8 weeks old. She is a Rhodesian Ridgeback, also known as the African Lion Hound. She likes to take long naps on the couch in the waiting room and scrounge around for treats, but most of all she loves giving kisses to all the little kids.

Absolutely the best dentists here! Everyone is so kind and welcoming. Highly recommend this place for anyone and everyone. I'm even working on getting my whole family to switch over here!

Smile Avenue is a great dental office and Doc Amanda Stough is awesome. My dad goes here, several of my friends, and myself. I would recommend her as she does a great job and is gentle.

Literally the best dentist EVER!!!!!!!! From the girls at the front desk to all the ladies in the back. My son has never been scared at the dentist...Thanks ladies for being soo good to my son...I would recommend this dentist to everyone!!! Especially if you have children!

Amazing staff and rockstar dentist!! My kids and I have been patients here for 7 years. My kids started their dentist experience here and it has been wonderful!! Very gentle care, they have always made it fun, and my kids have always looked forward to the dentist because of the care here. I have had past experiences with dentists that have made me anxious to go, I have never had a more caring staff, and they have done such an excellent job that I don't have anxiety about going and having my cleanings done. If you are looking for an excellent dentist with amazing staff, this is the place. I'm from a small town in Texas and picked them out of nowhere 7 years ago but I'm so glad I did! We would never go anywhere else!! -The Cramers
