I have been with Smile artistry for about a year. I can't appreciate their service post-payment. They are very kind before the treatment and before you paid off anything. But after that, they don't take your request from phone seriously. If you're planning to go there now before the end of 2022, and they are in the process of recredentialing, so all your payments won't be reimbursement by your insurance. I had my treatments while they were in the process but they did not tell me, so I have been waiting for 2 months didn't get the money back from my dental FSA. If you're the first time to get their service, they will spend a lot of time to take your pictures to enrich their database, I let you know in case anyone'd feel uncomfortable like I did.

I highly recommend Dr. McNeill. I've been seeing her for 15 years. I originally went to her for help with my TMJ issues. I'd seen a few different TMJ specialists before and none were able to help resolve my symptoms. Then I found Dr. McNeill. She has a very unique treatment approach that uses electrodes and sensors to detect the optimal resting position for your jaw. Then she makes an orthotic (similar to a night guard or retainer) to keep your jaw in that position at night. This approach was truly life changing for me. No more locking jaw or pain!

Very disappointed how the team is handling an overpayment situation: they made me pay for my treatment on the day of thereof, and then the insurance company paid them for my treatment as well. I ended up being overcharged by $200+. Regardless of multiple calls/emails and my insurance reaching out to them directly it's been more than a month and they still didn't refund me nor provided an ETA to do so. Very disappointed

I had a deep cleaning here and won't be going back. If you're someone who has a lot of dental stress, I highly recommend you don't go here either. First, the not-so-great. Scheduling was a bit of a nightmare here. They somehow lost my initial appointment for the deep clean. It was in their system that I'd paid for it at least, but the appointment itself was apparently never entered into their calendar. I had another appointment that was seemingly entered into their calendar for a different date than the one initially agreed upon. Second, the really not good. I've had some really bad dental experiences before and so going to the dentist stresses me out. This was something they asked about on their intake and talked to me about at my first appointment, so I expected it to be dealt with well. This was not what happened. At my deep cleaning, I requested and was given nitrous oxide to help with the stress. (It didn't help at all, but I don't hold that against them.) When the cleaning was mostly over, the dentist told me that a technician would be over to take a final look and wrap me up. That was all that was said. The nitrous oxide was left on and I was not told there were any changes to it. I was then left in the chair for at least fifteen minutes. I'm not exactly sure how long it was--it might've been longer--because I didn't start checking the time on a nearby computer until I'd already been laying there for some time, still with my chair leaned back, still being given nitrous oxide. At this point, I sat up to try to ask what was going on and when someone would be by to finish me up. A different dentist came over, started lecturing me about how I couldn't sit up, made me lay back down and put the mask back on, and told me that I needed to be changed over to oxygen before I could stand up. She told me that the technician was finishing up with someone else and basically that I needed to sit down and wait my turn. I felt treated like an unruly child, chastised for trying to cut in line, rather than an adult who just wanted to check how much longer I'd be there because I was taking time off work for the appointment. When the tech did come over, he looked at my teeth for about two minutes before letting me go. At the desk when I checked out, they claimed that I was left alone for 15+ minutes because I needed to breathe oxygen for that time after the nitrous oxide. Now, I know this isn't true because the second dentist told me she was switching me to oxygen AFTER I'd already been laying there for 15 minutes. If it WAS true, then the first dentist should've told me that was what was happening. It was far from the worst dental experience I've had. If I didn't have such high stress going to the dentist, I expect I would have brushed off this less-than-ideal experience. However, they knew about my previous horrible experiences and were also aware that the procedure that day was one that was extremely stressful for me. It would have been trivial for them to tell me that I would be waiting a while for the tech and to take me off of the nitrous oxide after the deep cleaning was done. I will never go back here. If you're someone who also has a lot of stress at the dentist office, I highly recommend you don't go here either.

I was referred to a new Dentist, Smile Artistry. It was a wonderful experience to work with Dr. Karen McNeill, and her lovely team. What a big difference compared to a standard Dentist. Thank You for taking care of me and for being pro-active to my specific needs.

A thorough professional cleaning combined with personalized advice on home care is a great way to maintain dental health. Getting your teeth looking just right can help you feel great about your smile. Smile Artistry offers both, and that's why I've been a client for 25 years.

Run from this place! I came in with an urgent issue, but all they were busy with was trying to upsell me some completely unnecessary services and torturing me by taking photos of my teeth, and insisting on this step even after I repeatedly said that I didn't want to do that. What's even more important, they are pretty relaxed about their Covid protocols - I actually had to ask a person taking my x rays to pull her mask up from below her nose!! Not to mention that the quote thart the finally gave me was 40% higher than I got at a place where I actually ended up doing the work (Avondale Smiles, super happy with them!)

Very unprofessional. The dentist repeatedly asked me why I came to America, and even said that my husband doesn't love me if he won't pay for some (unnecessary) procedure.

10/10 best Dentistry I've ever been to in my entire life. Very friendly, caring staff. Every single question I had was answered thoroughly. The also accept Care Credit, which is a life saver. Seriously, I cannot say enough good things about this place. I wish I knew everyone's name who I interacted with today, but EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU, you are incredibly kind and warm. This is definitely where I will be going, and referring many others.

Went for a first time appointment and they tried to force me to a $1800 bill for some specialized cleaning and filling. And then, when I had my new dentist send over a release form to send over my old scans, they somehow misplaced the form conveniently.... It hasn't even been 2 weeks... unbelievable
