Dr. Abdal is a dental provider in Farmington Hills community since 2003. She received her bachelors in biology and her masters in molecular biology from Wayne State University. She later attended University of Detroit Mercy Dental School and received her doctorate of dental surgery in 1998.
Dr. Abdal stays current with the new technology and techniques by taking many hours of continuing education. She has taken many courses in orthodontics with United Stated Dental Institute and Progressive Orthodontics that required her to pass an exam and display her experience before getting a certificate for doing braces. Her passion is cosmetics and has taken other elite courses with Dr. John Kois that helped her understand the importance of occlusion (bite). Dr. Abdal is committed to staying on the leading edge of dentistry and she empowers her staff to attain greater success through education.
Dr. Salim has been serving our patients for over three years. Dr. Salim received his bachelor in Biology in 2011 from University of Detroit Mercy. He later attended the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry and received his doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2015. Upon graduation, Dr. Salim received an award in periodontal surgery for his outstanding work and dedication to dentistry.
Since joining our practice, Dr. Salim received mentorship and continuing education courses in dental surgery and root canal specialties that allows him to confidently treat our patients that need molar root canals and surgical extractions, yes even third molars (wisdom teeth). Dr. Salim's philosophy is that all patients should be treated with the best care possible and each dentist should treat his/her patients like a family member.Dr. Salim is committed to help each patients understand that a healthy body starts with a healthy mouth.
Dr. Brady is a Mid-Michigan native who joined Smile America Dental Center in 2020. She received her Bachelors in Molecular Biology from University of Michigan Flint, and later attended University of Detroit Mercy Dental School where she received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2019. Upon graduation, Dr. Brady received an award for her work restoring dental implants. Dr. Brady loves traveling for continuing education courses to learn the amazing ways dentistry is progressing today. She has taken courses in Endodontics (root canals), lasers in dentistry, and sleep apnea interventions. As a dentist, Dr. Brady wants to change the perception of dental treatment and professionals. She is passionate about creating a patient-dentist bond built on trust and respect to break the cycle of dental anxiety. It takes a good relationship to get to the root of dental problems!
Nedda, RDH has been with our practice for four years. She graduated from Baker College with a degree in Dental Hygiene. She is certified in nitrous oxide and local anesthesia and laser bacteria reduction of oral health. She loves working with her patients and making them feel comfortable in the dental chair. Her mission is to provide beautiful and healthy smiles and educate her patients in providing the tools and products to improve their oral health for life.
