Summerville Dentist Dr. Randy Jones attended Clemson University, majoring in biochemistry with a minor in psychology. After graduating in 1980, he attended the Medical University of South Carolina where he obtained his dental degree (DMD).

Upon graduation from dental school in 1984, he established two dental practices one in Summerville and the other in Johns Island, SC. Both practices focus on aesthetic and neuromuscular dentistry with an emphasis on old-fashioned care and compassion, along with the latest advanced technology utilizing the highest quality materials available.

He is a graduate of and clinical instructor at LVI Global and is on the board of directors for the IACA. He has achieved the coveted Mastership of Aesthetic and Neuromuscular Dentistry (LVIM) and has lectured nationally on various dental topics.

After 30 years of practice, I pride myself on being able to evaluate and consider the whole of a patients needs, taking into account aging and wear as well as the individuals preferences and financial situation.

Summerville Dentist Dr. Will Rahn graduated from the College of Charleston in 1985 with a B.S. degree in biology. He then continued his education at MUSC College of Dental Medicine and graduated as a Doctor of Dental Medicine in 1989.

In 1990, he co-founded North Rivers Dental Center in North Charleston, where he practiced for 10 years and provided all phases of dentistry. He joined the practice of Dr. Muscott and Dr. Jones in January 2000. Since that time, he has primarily focused his continuing education efforts on the placement of bonded restorations especially the conservative CEREC-milled porcelain restorations, which he can custom-characterize to disappear in the mouth.

Dr. Stephen Parker is a long-time resident of Summerville. His family moved to the area in 1978, and he graduated from Summerville High in 1988. He attended Clemson University and received his B.S. and doctorate in microbiology and molecular medicine. After a successful career in pharmaceutical research and development, Dr. Parker made the decision to pursue his childhood dream of becoming a dentist.

He is an active member of both the American Dental Association and South Carolina Dental Association, and his greatest joy is working with individuals who have had difficult dental experiences in the past. Dr. Parker understands this is a significant barrier to quality dental care one that many patients want to overcome. He realizes that many of these patients simply need someone to listen to their fears, so he helps develop treatment plans that take their concerns into consideration.

Dr. Parker was absolutely the best! I hate going to the dentist but he was great. Genuine and kind. Very patient and cared about me as a nervous client. All of the staff there are awesone. Thanks to them and Dr. Parker.

One of the things I have learned over the years is that it is much easier, and economical, to fix problems when they are small. With the busy lives we all lead now it is very easy for people to avoid problems that seem minor at the time. Unfortunately, many of these problems can tend to grow in severity with no outward indication. As the problem grows, so does damage as well as the cost of fixing the problem. My goal is to help the patient realize that by fixing problems early it not only improves the their health but also saves them money. Im pretty sure most people prefer saving money.
