Born in Bulgaria, Dr. Milen Vitanov, affectionately referred to as Dr. V. by his patients, grew up in the city of Sofia. As a young child, Dr. V. dreamed of traveling to the land of opportunities, the United States of America. With discipline, hard work, and dedication, his dream of crossing the Atlantic Ocean and establishing a new home in the United States became a reality. In the United States, Dr. V. took pride in his first job as a janitor and worked tirelessly to complete his education. In May of 2008, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Cell Biology and Physiology from Arizona State University. Promptly after graduation, Dr. V. began working as a research technologist. His new position provided him with the research background needed in performing evidence-based practices.
In 2011, Motivated by the pursuit of excellence and driven by the strong conviction that improving the life of others was his calling, Dr. V. attended the prestigious Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health, A.T. Still University. There, he embraced the opportunity to perfect his skills by pursuing his clinical studies (direct patient care) travelling in various parts of the country. Practicing in cities such as Salt Lake City, UT, Nipomo, CA, and Bethel, AK, Dr. V. was able to implement new techniques, use the latest technologies, gain valuable experience, and increase his cultural awareness.
In 2015, after graduating from Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health, A.T. Still University as a Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (D.M.D), Dr. V. Completed a year of General Practice Residency at the New-York University Langone Hospital. His year of avid learning and vigorous training as a resident was followed by a tenure as a general dentist in Normal, IL. Dr. V has always dreamed of one day coming back home to Phoenix, Arizona, and opening a dental office. Today, Dr. V has come home to the Valley of the Sun. Highly recommend Dr. Vitanov! He and his staff are very polite and thorough. After taking x-rays of my teeth he gave me a correct synopsis of what work I had done in the past.and clearly explained the state of my teeth right now. I enjoyed my assessment and cleaning and will definitely be changing dentists!

10/10, came in for my first visit and assessment, got a bunch of x-rays done to ensure my teeth are not in need of addition care. Everything went smooth! The whole office was super nice and made the visit pleasurable for someone who is scared of dentist (myself). Would definitely recommend! Dr. V will send you home with a whole instruction on how to best take care of your teeth! :)

Dr. V and his staff are amazing and are always so welcoming. This is the first time where I can honestly say I enjoy going to the dentist. Dr. V is very informative and very thorough with his work. His staff as well as Dr. V always take the time to show in interest in the patients life. They definitely make you feel important and cared for. He does amazing work (pain-free) and I always with a smile on my face :)!

Dr. Vitanov and his Staff are phenomenal! From the moment you enter, you are greeted with bright smiles (pun intended) and a warm hello. As someone who neglected their teeth during the Pandemic, I was incredibly hesitant to schedule a visit, but Dr. Vitanov & Staff helped me to update my perspective on my dental care and has provided me, and my wife, with a stellar experience as a patient. I can't believe I'm admitting this based on my previous experiences at the Dentist as a kid, but I genuinely look forward to my visits at Smile 24. Do yourself a favor and schedule a visit! Thank you Dr. Vitanov and Team, you guys are worth each one of these five stars :)

Dr. V is the kindest and most thoughtful dentist I've ever been to. I missed quite a few cleanings after moving and then during the pandemic, so I was nervous about finding a new dentist. I ended up needing several fillings, but Dr V didn't lecture me or make me feel bad about it. He was very considerate of any discomfort I had and took extra care to make sure everything was done so there would be no issues in the future. I highly recommend Dr V and his wonderful staff!

I have to say...I was extremely impressed with the level of comfort and warmth I received in this office. This was the best experience I have ever had going to a dentist. You do not feel rushed, they answer all of your questions and take the time to really do a full review of your mouth. Did not take hours either, they make it quick and painless! Extremely friendly staff and I will definitely not be going anywhere else. They have really cool new technology they use as well, definitely opened up my eyes and very excited to return. My teeth look and feel amazing.

Dr. Vitanov is very personable, explains options thoroughly, and does great work! My father is a dentist and when he finally retired I wasn't sure who to turn to for dentistry. Well, I'm so glad I found Smile 24! Very very happy.

Dr. V is the best and his staff is so friendly and caring. They will work with you to figure out how your insurance works, payment options, etc. I really appreciated the attention to detail and the transparency Dr. V and his staff provided when it came to figuring out the logistics of treatment and how to pay for it. I actually look forward to going to the dentist now. Dr. V not only goes above and beyond to make his patients feel comfortable, he is also a perfectionist and will make sure you have the best possible experience based on your specific needs and expectations. He also gives out the best toothbrushes and tongue scrappers in town. Thanks Smile 24!

PROFESSIONAL, KNOWLEDGEABLE, ACCOMMODATING I was very anxious about the visit since it was an emergency and it was my first time in this office. When I asked for an earlier appointment, they were able to accommodate my request. As a person who has changed many dental offices throughout the years due to relocations, I can easily say that this was the best dental care I have ever experienced. It is a great office, hi-tech and innovative, spotless, and in a good location. Everything was on time, with staff being friendly and welcoming. The dentist, Doctor Vitanov, was very professional, informative, and compassionate. He took a full array of X-rays and regular photos and explained very well what was going on. He also did a great job at cleaning my teeth (precisely and pain-free). You know you are in good hands when you hear about preventative care and learn things about your bone structure that you had no clue about. He also gave me great tips on maintaining PROPER dental hygiene (something that not every dentist does). I would highly recommend this office and Doctor Vitanov to everyone!

Dr. Vitanov and all of the team at the practice are amazing. They make the entire dentist experience so much better. Dr. Vitanov explains dental and oral health techniques to you so well and makes the information very easy to understand. He is down to earth and just wants what is best for his patients oral health. His staff is very caring and knowledgable and they make sure your experience at the dentist is a great one. 10/10.
