For the last 13 years, she has been servicing families in the Hadden Heights area through her practice. When my top plate broke, they took me right in. I was worried I wouldn't have it for awhile, but no worries it will be in in a few days. I am extremely happy with the whole office staff. Thank you

No compassion, or class at this office! Staff, and the dentist herself were rude!!! The dentist removed some lower teeth from my mouth which ended up costing me $1,360.00 at an oral surgeons office later because she left part of the root in my mouth that caused extreme pain and a horrible infection. Worst experience of my life! I had no choice but to give them a star in order to leave a review. They don't deserve a star!!

I'm unsure how they still have accreditation. Please, do not go here. Take the time to read the reviews, they are correct. There are some positive reviews and they might be real they might be fake. We called the office and they hung up after our complaining. My mother is seeing an oral surgeon for an abscess she developed after a deep cleaning hers. Her entire face was swollen and even after draining she lost a tooth. This is despicable. Please close your business.

Please do not come here. My mother saw a previous dentist every 3-6 months religiously for over 10 years. She changed insurance was assigned this office. She went for her first cleaning appointment and less than a week later her face was swollen. She returned and was given antibiotics and told she needed a deep cleaning. She expressed concern with needing a cleaning so soon after antibiotics but told it was best. Three weeks after the deep cleaning she developed severe pain in the same area. We saw another dentist who drained a large abscess, and are now currently sitting at a periodontist office who states she has a deep infection in the tooth that was either missed or induced by Smera Family Dentistry. She now needs to have the tooth removed by an oral surgeon. My mom never had dental issues like this before coming to this office. We tried to call the office to make them aware of the situation, was placed on hold, and then hung up on. They have not answered our subsequent calls. Beware!

My family and I could not be happier with our experience at SMERA Family Dentistry! We made a block appointment for our entire family consisting of 2 adults and 3 children ages 7,5, and 4. It was our first appointment with this practice AND the very first dental visit for our two sons ages five and four. All of my children absolutely loved the experience and left with little toys and a love for flossing. . The dentist and her staff were very thorough, gracious, kind, attentive, and informative. Highly recommend and we look forward to our next visit in six months. For those of you who are wondering... she followed all Covid protocol.

I know most people dont read the reviews or comments most of the time but I am telling you now, DO NOT GO HERE!!!! I have been a patient for almost 4 years now as my insurance only allows me to go to a certain dentist, state insurance you get what you pay for!! I have a broken back tooth, which has been cracked with a cavity since 2017. I have lacked the effort to keep up with my dental as I am a single mother trying to make ends meet, in pain. so fast forward to yesterday March 9 2021. After NUMEROUS voicemails left during this pandemic and i finally got an appointment after telling them i have an abscess. I go, wait standing at the desk 25 minutes because EVERYONE was late coming back from lunch. I am in the chair the assistant comes takes my xray , dentist comes in and tries to swear to me that she can not pull in due to me not being able to take the numbing as it was inflamed so bad. I am shaking, crying in pain telling her i am going home and pulling it myself. THE VERY next day i am sitting here doing school work a HUGE chunk of not only my tooth but the root came out. on its own, which instantly shot pain through my entire face and brain. I IMMEDIATLY called the dentist HYSTERICAL BEGGING for an appointment. The office manager Betsy went on to tell me the dentist is already double booked and gave me an antibiotic to last me 10 tens so she can write my number down for any cancelations!!!! I am furious, in pain, feeling totally neglected and betrayed. We put trust in these Drs. and Dentist to help us take care of ourselves and they take an oath to do so yet, THEY DID NOT! You SMERNA DENTISTRY neglected my medical needs as your patient. You all should be ashamed of yourselves for even being open. 4 years of hell with a group of people who probably are not even licensed. They're ignorant when you first walk in down to the second you leave. I WILL be looking into the laws and regulations in New Jersey as I already wrote a letter to the division of consumer affairs of dentistry. I am in SEVERE pain tonight and have to not use my insurance and pay ANOTHER DENTIST do EMERGENCY oral surgery on my mouth at 9 am tomorrow. A man that has NEVER met me is going into HIS dentistry office early to take care of my needs. THAT IS UPCOMING HIS OATH! DO NOT GO HERE PEOPLE

I wish I could rate this based on an actual visit but unfortunately my appointment was canceled without my knowledge. The office had an issue with my insurance provider and never contacted me to let me know this. I even took off from work specifically for this appointment. When I arrived the receptionist acted like I should've known my appointment had been canceled. She told me they tried to call me (the day of) and did not have a number on file, which is ironic because they texted my appointment confirmation to my phone. The receptionist I spoke was rather rude and seemed agitated when I asked her what could be done. She ultimately said nothing and did not even offer an apology. If that was any indication of the level of service I would have received, I consider myself fortunate my appointment was canceled.
