Dr. Callaway was drawn to orthodontics from a desire to work with and help people be healthier, happier, and feel better about themselves. He appreciates getting to know his patients and watching each grow during treatment. Seeing the change in an individuals self-esteem, as he or she becomes comfortable with and then confident in their smile, is the doctors greatest reward.
His goal has always been to treat people like family, and in a timely and efficient manner. Over the last 20 years, he has had the honor to provide high-quality orthodontics to more than 20,000 patients.
He is proud to have developed a system that is extremely efficient and as easy for patients as possible, while still providing a personalized experience and ideal results for each person. As a result, Dr. Callaway has become an acknowledged expert in efficiency and is often consulted by peers who wish to incorporate his system into their own practices.
Through these organizations, Dr. Callaway has accesses to a range of continuing education (CE) options. By regularly completing CE courses locally, regionally, and nationally, and attending meetings and lectures, he stays current on the latest advancements in orthodontics.
Dr. Callaway has been honored to serve on the boards for the United Way, the American Red Cross, and the local soccer complex. He enjoys giving back to a community that has given so much to him and his family.
Much of Dr. Callaways time away from the office is spent with his family. He and his wife Emily Anne have three children: Campbell, Swayze, and Sawyer. The couple stays busy chasing the soccer ball with all three children. Campbell really enjoys football, as well as working out; Swayze also plays basketball and tennis; and Sawyer appears to be the future golfer in the family. If the family isnt chasing a ball around the field, they can often be found outdoors, where they enjoy hunting and fishing.

SmartSmile Orthodontics offers a variety of options to meet your orthodontic needs. These include clear brackets, metal brackets, Invisalign, indirect bonding, and Phase I treatment, including growth modification. Your orthodontic treatment will be tailored to your diagnosis and concerns.
Dr. Callaway and our team understand the time associated with office visits so we strive to reduce the number of occasions you have to miss work or school. We also plan our schedule so you should not have to wait when you come to our office. Dr. Callaways masters thesis was on treatment time, treatment quality, and treatment efficiency. I guess you could say he knew all along he wanted to provide the BEST treatment as EFFICIENTLY as possible.
Finally, we want to maintain that beautiful smile for a lifetime! You will be encouraged to wear your retainers for as long as you want your teeth to be straight forever! We will customize a retention protocol and schedule regular recall visits to monitor your teeth. This is a continuation of your orthodontic therapy.

This is probably the greatest orthodontist ever! Dr. Montgomery and her staff are the absolute best!!! I got my braces off maybe four years ago, and I came back this year and she was like "if there's something you don't like, let me know right now so we can fix it" & she did just that. I feel so much better! Thank you Dr. Montgomery.

Visited here because I was referred by my dentist. Received a quote for braces without insurance ok cool total $6,050 w/ $1200 down monthly payments of $220 for 24 months....quote WITH insurance still overall total $6,050 w/ $605.00 down and $202.00 a month....called to see if I can pay more down to lower my monthly notes....No ma'am it will only make you ahead with payments! Only reason I came here cause I was referred... I've heard other services work with patients and the more you put down the monthly notes will decrease, make me feel as if they didn't want to service me anyway because if other Orthodontists can why can't here...but they were friendly, fast, and it's clean...but that's standard operations.

This is a cool place. The staff are always polite and nice . whenever I need to change an appointment they r really nice and friendly and very helpful. They always works around my schedule and when we come in i don't havd to wait along time we r usually finish within 30 to 45 minutes
