Regular hygiene visits are important to help prevent future problems and maintain healthy gums and teeth. We encourage all of our patients to schedule periodic visits every six months or as recommended by your hygienist.
Dr Cortes was born in Cuba. He started showing interest in Dentistry at a very early age. Determined to pursue his dream, he began dental school at Superior Institute of Medical Sciences in Santiago de Cuba, where he graduated as a General Dentist in 1989.
After several years of polishing up his skills and accumulating vast experience working with patients in the dental field; he decided to emigrate to United States looking for more educational opportunities. He was accepted at New York University College of Dentistry where he received the degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery. Immediately after he completed an extensive and rigorous post graduate program at NYU in Prosthetic and Implant Dentistry.
He has been trained and certified in Invisalign, implant placement and restoration and orthodontic treatment. Through continuing education he is up to date with advanced technology and procedures being used in dentistry today. Dr. Cortes shares his life with his great spouse and two boys, who are his inspiration to work for a better future.
