Dr. Dave has resided in the western suburbs since 1974. He is a graduate of Downers Grove North High School and graduated from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. Dr. Dave attended the College of Dentistry at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery.
He completed a general practice residency at Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago. He continued his education with two additional years of training in pediatrics at the Childrens Hospital in Denver, Colorado. Dr.Davehas been practicing childrens dentistry in Naperville since 1999.

I really can't say enough about how wonderful every single person in this office is. My 5 yr old I found out had multiple cavities and we were referred to dr.Dave. Like many pediatric dentist the kids go back solo; I was super apprehensive thinking my son would be really scared. He was very nervous to be without me initially in the first appt but came running out with a huge smile. He's had to go a few times since and he actually bursts out of the car to run in. I'm not exaggerating when I say he talks more enthusiastically about going to dr. Dave then our trip to Disney world. I never knew I could be blown away by a dentist office but I really am. So glad something that could have turned into a lifelong anxiety turned into a real treat for my son.

The review is only for the office front desk lady Tanya - super condescending. Appears to be screening out new patient families based on names? Didn't return phone call or emails for months. Didn't even inform that there is a membership plan if the plan is out of their network.

They are the BEST!! De.Dave is so kind and my kids actually like going to the dentist, my son has Autism and the staff and Dr. Dave are so understanding and ALWAYS make my son feel welcome I would totally recommend them!

if you have a billing error with them, dont expect it to get resolved. Apparently they will get rid of you as a patient instead, per office manager Alicia.

I am so impressed with this place. After going to another pediatric dentist, I wanted to get a second opinion for my daughter. The staff here is excellent and Dr.Jones is so experienced and understanding of children. I'm a dental hygienist and I would highly recommend this office to my patients or anyone looking for a pediatric dentist.

My daughter has never had a good experience at the dentist until today. In fact, the last visit at a different office was very dramatic and somewhat traumatic for us. She has special needs and struggles to keep her mouth open and keep still long enough to get an xray. After 11 years, she finally got an xray!! The staff was extremely nice and welcoming. I felt at ease instantly. Instead of rushing into the exam, they have a gentle and patient approach which made it more comfortable for my daughter. Going to the dentist can be stressful for some kids, but they showed me that it doesn't have to be that way. I highly recommend Small Smiles to any kid, but especially those with special needs or anxiety.

Absolutely terrific experience start to finish, the staff did an incredible job keeping my two toddlers comfortable and happy from the moment we walked into the door!!! My son is no longer scared of seeing a dentist because of the experience he had at Small Smiles with Hillary, Dr. Dave and the rest of the staff!

Love this place. I grew up afraid to go to the dentist. I can't get my kid to leave, he loves going. The staff is so nice. They explain everything that is going on with my 6 year olds teeth plus what to expect as he is loosing them.
