Harold Slutsky, DMDgraduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 1985 and completed a residency in orthodontics at New York University in 1987. Prior to entering dental school, he attended New York University and graduated cum laude after only three years of college at the age of 20. Dr. Slutsky was a member of the NYU seven-year Bio-Dental program and has been practicing in Mayfair since 1987.
Dr. Slutsky is a Clinical Associate Professor of Orthodontics at Temple Dental School and is course director of three courses: the Junior Dental Student Lecture Series, the Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) Residency Lecture Series, and the Second Year Orthodontic Resident Clinical Lecture Series. He also is a Visiting Scholar at New York University where he periodically lectures to residents, faculty, and alumni. Dr. Slutsky has also lectured nationally to orthodontists, general dentists, residents, and students. He is a published author in several peer-reviewed dental journals. He was voted Best of Phillyfrom 2012-2022in Philadelphia Magazine for orthodontists.
Dr. Slutsky is a board-certified Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. Only one in three orthodontists is board certified. Board certification in this specialty requires extensive preparation. The practitioner must first pass a difficult examination and then appear before a board of nationally respected orthodontists to present various cases that he has treated. The biggest benefit of being a Diplomate is the tremendous self-evaluation which the orthodontist undergoes and the real world knowledge gained from successfully treating such a wide spectrum of cases.
Dr. Slutsky is a member of the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontics, American Association of Orthodontists, Pennsylvania Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association, and the Philadelphia County Dental Society.
Originally from Bronx, New York, Dr. Slutsky has lived in Montgomery County since 1987. He has been married since 1986 and has two children. In his time off, Dr. Slutsky enjoys swimming, running, and reading.

Honestly wish I could give more stars. I've always been a little hesitant/scared of orthodontists as I haven't had the best experience in the past. I've never been seen by a medical professional as kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, and funny as Dr. Slutsky, as well as his amazing staff! I don't usually write reviews ever but I definitely had to leave one for this phenomenal team and group of people. I'm incredibly happy with my results and the journey to get here the last two years!

I recently began seeing Dr. Slutsky and his team in Bensalem. I'm very impressed with their work ethic. They are an awesome team. They can't do enough to answer my questions during my visits and even after if I have more questions after my visit. Thanks again Dr. Slutsky!!

I took my kids to Dr. Slutsky and his Bensalem team team for braces. They needed a ton of work, starting with night guards and ending wirh retainers. Dr. Slutsky and his assistants really gave them the time and attention they needed to have amazing smiles once their braces came off. They were never too busy to answer questions and no question was too crazy. Thank you to Dr. Slutsky and his Bensalem team for giving our boys perfect smiles.

I usually have reservation about posting poor reviews but unfortunately, my experience with this practice wasted my time and money before I could get to see the orthodontist. I called to set an appointment for my son. The woman that answered the phone was not professional and seemed irritated for some unknown reason. I mentioned that my older son may have had his orthodontic work done at your office. She asked for his info. I gave her his info. I don't see him she stated. She kept asking a few more questions only to find out that she was asking about my son who currently needs treatment. She became frustrated as if it was my fault because she failed to clarify. Here's the best part. She gave me an appointment. I wake early, pick up my son, drive down to the orthodontist, pay toll only to find the office closed. I called their number only to be told your appointment is in Philadelphia. What?! I never knew there was more than one location and was never asked by the appointment clerk about a location when the appointment was made. Poor communication and unprofessional. I do not recommend this practice.

I've been going here for as long as I remember!! Had to be in second grade! Now i'm almost 22 graduating college and came back to get invisalign after years of braces! super satisfied with the results and am super confident with my smile!! Can't be grateful enough!

I went in for consultation for braces of some sort. When the Dr. Slutsky told me how much they were and I expressed how it was a little pricey, he then became very rude, told me if it wasn't me paying someone else will and also made other comments. Essentially saying he doesn't need me. His attitude was uncalled for and very rude. I will not be returning to his practice needless to say.
