Dr. Jared Sluka graduated from Marist College, obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a Minor in Psychology in 2007. He then attended UMDNJ New Jersey Dental School, now Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, graduating with a D.M.D. degree in June 2011.
Following graduation, Dr. Jared was accepted and participated in a one year General Practice Residency Program at Staten Island University Hospital. This greatly furthered his education and experience as he performed all phases of general dentistry with a concentration in restorative, endodontics (root canal), and pediatric dentistry. He also attended post-graduate lectures for two hours on a daily basis. Dr. Jared regularly engages in continuing education courses and is committed to lifelong learning to best serve his practice.
Dr. Jared currently resides in Boonton with his wife, Natalie, and greyhound dog, Neka. He is very family-oriented and enjoys spending time with his brother, sister-in-law, nephew, and three nieces in Vermont, as well as many cousins in the area. Dr. Jared is also a big Jets & Mets fan.

Going to the dentist isn't on anyone's list of "enjoyable activities" but the people here make the experience better than any other dentist I've visited! Dr. Sluka is very personable and did a great job repairing my broken molar. Everyone is very helpful and professional - I highly recommend them!

This was my first time at this office , and the last place I wanted to be on a Saturday morning during a pandemic . However , I could not be more satisfied from beginning to the end of my experience . The office was spotless . Linda the secretary was so understanding and caring . Which I appreciated under the new circumstances. I cannot say enough about Dr. Jarred and his team. I have struggled with many teeth fears/issues .They were handled with ease and care . I am not normally a person to write reviews, but I promised my self that when someone goes above and beyond I would start acknowledging. This is the case with my experience at Sluka Family Dental. Wait time was minimal, front desk was pleasant. Assistant was nurturing and actually funny. Best of all Dr Sluka was attentive and in my opinion, an expert. Highly recommend!

Dr. Sluka is by far the best dentist I've ever gone to. He is professional, knowledgeable, and understands the industry better than anyone. Having dealt with prior negative experiences he made me feel at home and welcome. He listened to my concerns and is an all around great guy. Would HIGHLY recommend!

I have been going to Dr Sluka for 30 years. I grew up fearing the dentist having been drilled without numbing. Dr Sluka is an expert and always makes sure you are numb. If I am digging my fingernails in my fist( out of habit) he would stop and make sure I didnt feel anything. I like the fact that he has had the same office manager Linda and dental assistant Sheri. The office has a great working relationship. I brought my children here and Dr Sluka always took good care of them. Highly recommend!

Excellent dentist. Wont yell at you for your messed up teeth! Good prices and friendly accommodating staff. They took me as a walk in within 5 minutes. Dental work was quick, efficient and has held up great. Would definitely recommend!!

I would recommend Dr. Sluka and his staff without reservation. I've been seeing him for over 30 years since shortly after when he opened his practice in an office a few doors down the street from the current location. Over that time, he has worked skillfully and closely with me on everything from fillings, to crowns, to bridges and lately complex crown / implant situations. During that time, Lynda, the office manager has mastered and accurately handles insurance coverage as well as always finding the time to accommodate my unfortunately timed emergencies. You will surely be relaxed in the chair chatting with Sheri, Dr. Sluka's very competent chair assistant. And lastly my semiannual visits with Jeanette, the hygienist goes smoothly and informatively.

Dr. Sluka is very patience. He listens and takes time to explain treatment options no matter how complex, describing the benefits of each in a simple way. He always makes sure you are comfortable and pain free. He is very kind and knowledgeable. The office staff is very friendly, helpful and supportive and are very quick to go above and beyond when it comes to scheduling appointments or any other questions I have. I recommend Dr Sluka to anybody who usually feels nervous at the dentist and is looking for a great Dr.
