Dr. Sloan grew upboth here in Broadway and on the family farm in Harnett county. After graduating from Boone Trail High School and Pfieffer college with honors, Dr. Sloan attended UNC Dental School. Graduating in 1973, Dr. Sloan began work in private practice in Broadway while also serving on UNC's faculty. With over four decades ofpractice here in his hometown, Dr. Sloan has had the privilege to serve generations of families and friends.Catering to cowards. Dr. Sloan built his practice on the simple principle that dentistry should not have to hurt. He is heavily trained in nitrous oxide sedation, anti-anxiety medication, and has developed his own techniques for managing injection pain.Dr. Sloan's clinical focus includes:Cosmetic dentistry including complete smile makeovers,Artistic dentures and partial denturesGeneral restorative Crown and BridgeDr. Sloan is heavily involved in our communitiesincluding servingas Co-chairof the NC Veterans Memorial, Co-Chair for the NC Disabled Veteran Memorial, and former chair for the development of the Boone TrailRescue Services.Dr. Sloan is married to his better halfof almost 50 years, Betsy Sloan. He is moderately proud of his three children (Don, Rebecca, and David)but enormously proud of his seven grandchildren. In his spare time, he enjoys sculpting and deep devotion to reading everybookhe can get his hands on.
Dr. Don grew up in Harnett County and did his best to escape the siren song of the dental drill. After an extended stay at Appalachian State, Dr. Don pursued teaching and coaching for several years before attendingUNC-CHSchool of Dentistry. After graduating in 2007, he joined Dr. Sloan here in Broadway.

Britney became a part of our team in 2016. She grew up in Benson, NC, and graduated from South Johnston High School in 2010. After marrying her husband in November 2015, his job as a Pilot with the NC State Forestry Service moved them to the town of Broadway in 2016. In August of 2018, we were blessed with our son, Owen. She enjoys family time with their cat Smokey and dog Zoey. She also enjoys cooking and shopping in her free time.
LeeAnna has been working with us since 2012. She graduated from CCCC with herAssociates in Dental Hygiene in 2011. She is honored to be able to serve the community in which she lives and was always a goal of hers. Over the last several years her patients have become like family to her.LeeAnna has been married to her husband Adam since 2012 and has a daughter, Gracelynn, who was born in 2013. When she 's not busy running her daughter from place to place, she enjoys spending time with her extended family, reading, running, and time at the lake.'I can 't wait to see you on your next visit!'
Emily graduated from Central Carolina Community College as a dental assistant in 2017. She has been working with us since May of 2018. In September of 2019, Emily and her husband married. They have a yellow lab named Clyde that is four years old. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, friends, and shopping
Kyler graduated from the Dental Assisting Program at Wake Tech Community College in the Summer of 2019. She and her husband, Zeb, just recently got married in the middle of the pandemic, September 2020. In December 2021 they welcomed twin girls, Oaklynn and Brynlee. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and spending time with family and friends.
Laura joined our front office team in Spring 2021. She grew up in South Carolina and then she moved to Broadway NC in the Summer of 2004 with her husband. They have a dog named Brutus and a tabby cat named Tom. In her free time, she enjoys riding four-wheelers and spending time with her fur babies.
Kasey grew up in Mebane, NC and graduated from Guilford Technical Community College in 2014. After getting married in 2020, she moved to Sanford with her husband, who was brought to the area with his military career. She is excited to establish relationships and provide care to all of the patients here in Broadway. In her spare time she enjoys anything outdoors, reading and spending time with her husband and two dogs, Mabel and Otis.
Haley joined our team as a dental assistant in 2021. Haley is a life-long resident of Lee County. In 2022 she welcomed a baby boy, Blayden. When not working Haley enjoys spending time with her family, shopping and visiting the beach.
Maggie grew up in Olivia. She graduated from the Dental Assisting program at CCCC in 2020. Maggie is currently scheduled to graduate with her Associates in Dental Hygiene in the Spring of 2023. I have an American Bulldog named Moose, who keeps me on my toes. In my free time I enjoy baking, shopping, and relaxing on the beach.
