I come from a family of dentists, yet I didnt have the best of teeth and went through a fair share of problems and procedures. Since then, I have tried to make getting dental care comfortable, simple, and as gentle as possible.
After graduating from high school in Santa Maria, I attended UCLA for undergrad and New York University for dental school. I also completed a surgery residency in Long Island. After I got tired of shoveling snow in New York, I decided to return to the Central Coast in 2011. I enjoy spending time with my wife Samantha and chasing after our daughter Genevieve and son Maxwell.
Dr. Steven Frimtzis is a Southern California native who was raised in Palos Verdes, just south of Los Angeles. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of California, San Diego. He then received his DMD from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, Boston, MA. Dr. Frimtzis moved to Coachella Valley where he started his private practice in Indian Wells. He was one of the first dentists to provide same day crowns using Cerac 3 (2002). He also has an extensive background treating patients who would like to improve the appearance of their smile with porcelain veneers.
I was born and raised in Bavaria, Germany, and Im a graduate of the Ludwig Maximilian University in Germany, which holds one of Europes most modern dental clinics and is an official elite University of Excellence. I then moved to the US, where I pursued my American dental license and graduated from the Professional Program for International Dentists at UCLA in May 2017.

Went for multiple consolations and the price of the procedures kept going up and up and rude remarks from the office manager. I finally got fed up of the used Car Tactics at SLO Peak Dentistry and switched to Oaks Dental Group in Pismo Beach which had much better prices. Do your self and your wallet a favor and don't visit SLO Peak Dentistry they are terrible.

SLO Peak Dentistry is definitely state of the art modern Dentistry. It was my first time back to the Dentist after a long period and the technology has progressed. The tech that completed my X-ray process was very professional and communicated well to help me through a fairly long and at times an uncomfortable series of X-rays. The assessment was straight forward and clear on costs.

My first visit to SLO Peak Dentistry was superb! They took regular x-rays and a panoramic view. I got a full inspection with Dr. Frimtzis. I am 67 and have a lot invested in my mouth! Dr. Frimtzis has a terrific bedside manner and explained he treatment plan to me thoroughly. I recommend Peak Dentistry without reservation based on my many, many encounter with dentists over my lifetime!

I'm writing specifically about Dr. Fitzpatrick. He was my dentist in Del Mar, CA, until, without notice, he up and moved to San Luis Obispo. He must have moved before Christmas because I stopped by the office a few weeks ago, peeked inside and saw that the Christmas decorations were still up. You can still call that office and you'll get a message stating that the office is open but they've stepped away from the desk. They've been away from the desk for over 3 months. What's most upsetting is that he never let his patients know. My records are gone! What kind of "doctor" does this? You can go check his reviews on his Yelp page in Del Mar. It's still up and I'm not the only who has the same issue. I'd stay away from this guy. What did he do that he had to leave town in such a hurry?

SLO Peak Dentistry is a great place for all dental work and cleaning-I've had great experiences there - 5 STARS for that. Unfortunately, they JUST sent a notice saying they were dropping my insurance next month - bad timing as my company only allows for changes once a year in October for the following year! This is why I gave them only 1 star.

If you enjoy filling out the same form over and over again because they apparently can't keep records, you'll love it here. If you like being charged for procedures that are not covered by insurance and which the dentist tells the nurse was specifically because of delays in getting treatment when they couldn't be bothered to see you, it'll be great. Extra satisfying when in the same conversation occurring over ypur head the dentist is complaining about having to work too hard and how he doesn't want to have to work full days as it makes his job less fun, or hear them complain about the difficulties they have finding good help at home, fantastic. If you enjoy their myriad technical tools that all come back to "well you'll have to call the main office to do that," utter magic. They may be competent dental surgeons but they care very little for your well being or experience, only what they can charge you for.

Just got my six-month cleaning and check-up. Hygienist Sherie is wonderful and I got to meet Dr. Sartorius. Great first impression! Overall very pleasant way to start my day. My experiences with all the staff there have been very positive.

They are great there and I enjoy the music. I gave them one star less because they said I could get a clear night guard if I waited for when they were working with the other vendor. But the night guard is blue. I didn't bring it up because I didn't want to have to drive there again to pick up a different one.
