Dr. Hohimers fascination with state-of-the-art technologies is a great benefit to our patients hes always at the forefront to ensure that you will receive the best and most advanced care available today. He has lived in South Florida since 2001, and at present, enjoys life in East Ft. Lauderdale where he is active in community organizations and takes advantage of the areas relaxed lifestyle. When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Hohimer likes to read, cook, participate in fitness activities, travel and explore the techno geek side of life.
Captivated by precision technologies that aid in patient comfort, especially when essential for cosmetic and implant dentistry, Dr. Hohimer has completed advanced training in dental implant placement and restoration, Invisalign invisible orthodontics, and sedation dentistry. He is also certified in the use of Botox in dentistry. Dr. Hohimer has taught other dentists in the field of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and with his certification in using Botox in dentistry, he can apply his finely honed skills to assess the balance and overall esthetics of the face as well as address jaw joint issues such as temporomandibular joint disorder (TMD). Dr. Hohimer is active in state, national, and international organizations including the Academy of General Dentistry, Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine and the Florida Society for Dental Anesthesiology.
Dr. Hohimer is passionate about providing the most gentle, comprehensive, and advanced techniques available. He has a special interest in treating patients diagnosed with Obstructive Sleep Apnea using custom oral appliances. He also believes that by delivering a broad spectrum of opportunities from Botox and cosmetic dentistry to sedation, he can ensure a smile strategy that can be tailored to meet your unique needs.
Dr. Matthew J. Fien received his bachelors degree from the University of Florida and his doctorate degree from Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery. He completed post-graduate training in the specialty of Periodontology at Nova Southeastern University and is Board Certified by the American Academy of Periodontology.
Dr. Fien has completed a number of research projects which have led to his work being published in various peer-reviewed dental journals, including the Journal of Periodontology, the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, the Compendium of Continuing Education in Dentistry, and the International Journal of Periodontics and Restorative Dentistry. Dr. Fien is actively engaged in several clinical research studies in the fields of Periodontics, Implant Dentistry, and Tissue Regeneration. He is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology and the Academy of Osseointegration.
My goal is to serve my local community and develop personal relationships with my patients and their families. I believe in working in an ethical, efficient, and happy environment where patients and staff are treated with respect. I believe that with these goals in mind, a practice can sustain and grow a successful business.

Dr. Hohimer and his staff are very caring and professional; from the receptionist to the dental assistants and Technicians , they make you feel at ease and give you a very personalized experience. After having issues with another Dr with getting numb enough to treat a tooth that needed a crown I found Dr. Hohimer who did the procedure and I was totally at comfort. He offered many options for sedation and thankfully the least invasive worked like a charm! Their hours are very accommodating and the location is very central. I wholeheartedly recommend this clinic and Dr. Hohimer in particular.

Top notch experience! Went in early on a Saturday morning with a cracked molar from the night before. Donna escorted me into the procedure area and was kind enough to tour me around their facilities prior to meeting with the Dr.. Met with the doc and he was thorough and concise. Explained all in detail and provided a total cost for my approval prior to beginning anything. Once I agreed,they went to work on taking all the requisite measurements to properly fit a porcelain crown. Eddie was amazing as he fine tuned the computer generated images to get the perfect fit for my new crown. Once the measurements were complete, he began the milling process of the crown which took all of 14 minutes. All totaled, i was in and out of the chair in about two hours with no pain whatsoever and the fit was just as good as my natural tooth. From the patient interaction and gracious manner on Donna's part, to the technical expertise displayed by Eddie, to the concise and thorough nature of Doctor Hohimer, these folks definitely deliver a first class experience. If in the Ft. Lauderdale/Plantation area and in need of a dentist, look no further than comfort Dentists if Plantation, they simply are the BEST!!

My second time there and went in for my free yearly cleaning. They charged me $25 for a copay in which i found odd but I was in a bit of a hurry & feel they sensed this. Called the next morning to dispute the charge and they said I received a special cleaning & I actually owed them money. They did nothing different from the last time I was there and wasn't charged. Be very careful when going to this place. They will try to con you if you're not paying attention.. NEVER EVER GOING BACK TO VISIT THESE CROOKS..

I love Dr Waldee he is very fair when providing services. I have been seeing Dr Waldee for many years now and I totally trust him. I moved to Coral Springs and I gladly drive to Plantation. Dr Waldee is worth the drive.

My dental hygienist, Jennie, did an amazing job on my teeth. I think the best I've ever had. And she made me so comfortable during the procedure. Dr Waldee is one super dentist as well!!!

I can't thank this place enough for how wonderful they were ! I drove all the way from West Palm Beach , and would do it again in heart beat ! I was terrified of the Dentist and I know many are , give them a chance to make going to the Dentist a wonderful experience . There staff is wonderful , professional and very caring my friend who was waiting in the lobby for me couldn't stop telling me how nice they were . Thank you ! Thank you ! Thank you !

I was a very fearful patient and needed extensive work done. Everyone at Sleep Dentists went out of their way to make sure that I was comfortable at every procedure. I never felt like there was something wrong with me because I was so scared and my teeth had not been taken care of for so long. At every step the dentists and nurses were friendly, comforting and the trip to the office was not something to fear. I thank everyone for their patience and understanding as well as the comfort they provided. I have never been to a medical facility where everyone makes you feel welcome and cared for. I recommend Sleep Dentists to everyone - fearful and non-fearful patients. You will be very well taken care of and receive the best treatment possible.

Fasten your seat belts, it's going to be a bumpy ride. One reviewer wrote about Dr. Reza Modarres' care; she is right. He is capable and caring. Dr. Kerry Waldee has gifted hands. He has the experience and expertise to fix the most difficult dental problems. I lasted 16 years until I could no longer afford their prices. In addition, after having a stroke, I found I had to destress my life. Going to Sleep Dentists isn't only about care of your teeth. You have to surmount the staff personalities. I came in to have a crown placed after having a root canal. While I can say no dentist visit is something I look forward to, the experience was very pleasant. This is the first dentist office don't I dread coming to. Dr. Hohimer is always friendly, willing to answer questions and encourages you to speak up when you feel uncomfortable. I can honestly say he is one of the best dentists I have ever had. The staff as a whole is remarkable. For instance, the wonderful David took time to show me the process of creating my crown, explaining how the CEREC technology worked to make a crown that fit perfectly the very same day. David really put my mind at ease. I really like this dentist office and plan to come back here for years to come. Hopefully I won't need another root canal, but I know I will receive the best care if I do:)

I love this dentist office. I've going to this office for over 20 years and always feel very comfortable walking thru the front door. I'm not a fan of going to the dentist but I learned a long time ago that the staff and doctors here know what they're doing and make me feel very comfortable and at ease each and every time I go there.
