Kellie, the only thing I can say is WOW. I have never had something so life changing happen so fast. I put my appliance in at bedtime and fell asleep. I mean I really fell asleep! I woke up a few times in the night but went right back to sleep. The appliance fit fine and I had no problem keeping it in all night. Upon getting up this morning I felt rested for the first time well I truly can't remember the last time it was so long ago. My husband stays up later than me and he thought I was not in the bed when he came in the room. He said he kept touching me in the night to make sure I was alive! He said I did not toss and turn or move about the bed. No noise from snoring at all. He told me this morning that he did not know if I could tell a difference in my quality of sleep but he sure could. I have not been exhausted or nodded off once today at all. I want to thank you and everyone at SBSC helping me on this new journey. This has been beyond my expectations! Please tell all in the office THANK YOU! See you for checkup in November.

I was referred to Sleep Better SC, by my primary physician after being diagnosed with sleep apnea and expressed that I did not want to use a CPAP. Dr. Blalock and her staff thoroughly explained to me how the oral appliance would work for me in addressing my breathing issue and walked me through expectations for the fitting and follow-up appointments. Terri, Dr. Blalock's assistance, is amazing and so kind. The oral appliance is easy to insert and so comfortable to wear. After a few days of becoming adjusted to wearing it, I was sleeping better than I had been for years. Since being fitted with the oral appliance, I became aware that Dr. Blalock would be providing the "Nightlase '' treatment at the practice. I previously read an article about the benefits of this treatment and wanted to give it a try. After the first treatment, my airway felt clear and my breathing and swallowing improved immediately. I just recently completed my second treatment and I have yet to experience any pain or discomfort during or after treatment. I went to this practice expecting to receive a service, what I found were exceptional professionals in Dr. Blalock and her staff who provide exceptional care. Thank you!

I was greeted by a friendly staff. Every thing and step was explain to me. This was awesome calm my nerves. I could not have anything over face for sleep apnea. This appliance for my mouth has done me wonders. I been to lung dr and do not have to return.I used to stop breathing 20 times an hour, coughing all night, and dry nose. Results with appliance: 8 times an hr, no coughing, no dry nose equals one goodnight sleep.. I am thrill. Easy process and fix.

Dr Blalock and Kellie are great to work with at Sleep Better South Carolina. I heard about their practice from my dentist. We were discussing that I needed a sleep apnea machine after my PCP had ordered a sleep study for me. My PCP ordered the sleep study because I was waking up very tired each morning. Sleep Better SC gave me a medical device you wear in your mouth at night (similar to a night guard feel-but does MUCH more than a night guard) and I did not have to get a sleep apnea machine. Which I was very happy to not have to hook up to that machine every night. The medical device is working great. Dr Blalock and Kellie explained everything to me so I had a complete understanding of how to use it and how it works. I highly recommend their practice!

Great experience, no more CPAP! Happy bed partner now too. It has helped me to stop snoring completely. Highly recommend if you hate your CPAP machine.

Sleep Better SC worked efficiently and effectively to assist with all my needs. They went above and beyond the normal course of treatment to allow me to obtain renewal of my CDL. Even when they didn't have the best information about what was needed they did more than expected to try to help. Once more information was obtained the staff did an amazing job to get the data needed to complete my recertification. They have always been courteous, polite and accommodating. They truly are a professional staff beyond what one could ask for. I am thankful I was referred to them by my family physician.

I've had great experiences at this practice. Initially my insurance denied authorization and the staff made a special request which overturned the denial. Everyone there is friendly and makes sure your needs are meet. I don't tolerate CPAP and I am very happy to have this alternative.

Everyone I encountered was friendly, courteous and professional. I was excited at the prospect of not using a CPAP anymore. My appliance is a great fit and 2 months in I'm still doing great and having restful nights. I highly recommend Sleep Better South Carolina.

I have so many good things to say about my experience with Sleep Better South Carolina. Most importantly though is their steadfast devotion to getting me fitted with the perfect appliance. You see, I have sensitivity issues and the first 2 appliances just didn't work. I gave up ,thinking surely there were no more options. Since I hadn't checked in with the office in a few weeks, Kellie called me and said that they weren't out of ideas and that they would try a different material. My mouth tolerated this one and I'll be forever grateful for their perseverance. Dr. Blalock and Kellie Ackerman go the extra mile for their patients and I find that to be a very uplifting thing in these times. Sincerely, Martha Snyder
