Many years ago, I received my first sleep apnea oral appliance directly from the pioneer of the technology Dr. Gail Demko. When she retired, I was somewhat unsure that anyone could fill her shoes, but Dr. Cohn and her team have done the impossible: Not only did she keep Dr. Demko's the world-class, life-changing, sleep apnea therapy but also improved and expanded its delivery. Sleep Apnea Dentists of New England now operates in a conveniently located state-of-art professional office that somehow even continues Dr. Demko's home office design that allowed patients to observe a relaxing bit of nature through large picture windows while being treated. Dr Cohn's level of professionalism extends to every member of her staff, including, most recently the extraordinary level of customer service provided by her Receptionist/Billing Coordinator/Office Manager Silvia. While talking insurance referral and co-pays with her counterparts in my primary care doctor's office, she went out of her way to advocate on my behalf. Her hard work should be commended, as she is truly a beacon of hope in a sea of increasing incompetence. If you have sleep apnea, and a CPAP machine hasn't helped, I will highly recommend Sleep Apnea Dentists.

Dr. Cohn and her team have changed my life! I'm on my second appliance for obstructive sleep apnea and Dr. Cohn has been amazing. She explains the differences of each appliance and reviews your specific issue and will advise on the best appliance to help with your apnea. The team uses the latest technology (no more doughy mold process) to get the appliance custom fit. She explains insurance coverage options and is open and transparent about costs and value. Everyone at the office is friendly, professional and super helpful! I cannot recommend this team enough!!

Life changing! When I was diagnosed with severe sleep apnea (34 episodes per hour!) I thought my only option was a CPAP machine. Then I learned about Dr. Cohn and the dental appliance. Now, after using the appliance for a few months, my symptoms are mild (only 8 episodes per hour). Thank you, Dr. Cohn!

Overall it has been a wonderful experience!! From the very first appointment, to the fitting, to the follow up appoints, it's been a smooth process...The oral device helps me sleep better and wake up more rested, with the added bonus that I'm not snoring anymore!. The adaptation process is relatively easy, the benefits greatly outweigh the initial discomfort I felt while getting used to the device. Dr. Cohn and her team are the best!!!!

Dr. Vicki Cohn has been on of the most assuring and competent Physicians /Dentists that I have ever been treated by. She takes all the time needed to inform and educate her patients. In my case, I am experiencing a significant reduction in sleep apnea episodes by wearing a Herbst appliance in my mouth nightly. I am so grateful that I do not need to use a CPAP machine because of this dentistry. Also, her office is very conscientious regarding COVID restrictions. I always feel protected and comfortable in the office. I would recommend anyone to seek Dr. Cohn's services for sleep apnea treatment.

I knew how important it was to correct my sleep apnea, but for a handful of reasons I really wanted to avoid a CPAP machine if possible. During the evaluation I really appreciated their openness about what the science said about the likelihood of success for each option for treatment, so I felt that I was armed with all the data I needed to make an intelligent choice. A simple dental appliance was a total cure for me, and its very simple to use.

It took some reading and research before I found Dr Gail Demcko of SADONE. I spent 3 years with Dr Demcko and her awesome staff. Kelly, Marella, and Eileen have all been professional, yet personable in a way to make you feel welcomed. Since retiring and moving to Newton, Dr. Cohn has now taking SADONE even further. New technology has streamlined the care of patients into more precise, short, expedient visits. Dr Cohn is very knowledgeable and willing to take time to talk and answer all your questions. With the same staff in place and another 3 years along, I fully recommend anyone suffering with CPAP to check out Sleep Apnea Dentists of New England.
