Peggy Misita, RDHPeggy graduated from Waverly High School and then went on to receive her RDH from Shawnee State University in 1997. She has worked as a dental hygienist in bothgeneral and pediatricpractices. She has received her licenses to administer local anesthetic and nitrous oxide through The Ohio State University. Her and her husband, Mark, love spending time with their children Isabella and Grayson. Peggy is currently President of Ross County Board of Developmental Disabilities where she has been a board member for eight years. She is also a member of the Ohio Dental Hygentists' Association & the American Dental Hygentists' Association.
Amanda Peters, EFDAAmanda graduated from Chillicothe High School and went on to study at Ohio University Chillicothe. She worked as a CDA for many years, then went on to receive her license as an Expanded Functions Dental Auxillary from The Ohio State University. This license allows her to restore teeth. Amanda and her husband Arin have three children, Karlie, Lane, and Easton.
Hope Elliott, Office ManagerHope graduated from Adena High School in 2003. She then went on to earn her Bachelors in Science in Technical and Applied Studies at Ohio University Chillicothe in 2007. Hope and her husband, Cheyenne, enjoy spending time with their daughter, Kylee. She also enjoys camping, hunting, photography, and spending time with friends and family.
Josette Carroll,Dental AssistantJosette graduated in 1993 from Paint Valley High School. She hasbeen a dental assistant for the past 11 years. Josette and her husbandClark enjoy the outdoors and spending time with their children and theirgrandson.
Amber Fackusseh, RDHAmber graduated from Clinton-Massie High School in 2012 and went onto Shawnee State University to become a Dental Hygienist and graduated in2015. She continued her education at Shawnee and graduated with aBachelor's of Individualized Studies focused in Business Health Management.Amber enjoys fishing, running and spending time with friends and family.
Dr. Alison Slechter graduated from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 2007. Prior to that she graduated from The Ohio State University with a BS in Biology in 2002. She has a great deal ofexperience with restorations, dentures, crowns, bridges, root canal therapy, and pediatrics. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Ohio Dental Association, and the Rehwinkel Society. Dr. Slechter was born and raised in Columbus and is a devoted Buckeye. Her husband, Jake, and daughter, Mallory, are the loves of her life.

I went in for my sons teeth cleaning and everything seemed fine. He had some cavities to fill which we were aware of going in. She had mentioned me staying in the waiting room for his next appointment but it seemed like an optioned so I told her I would rather not. His next appointment we were under the impression we were getting those cavities filled going in but I was told after they called my sons name that he was getting teeth pulled because he had "two wiggley teeth". I hadn't prepared him for that but I said ok. Then when I got up to go with him I was told I couldn't go back because I had my baby which I found odd because I had him with me the previous time. I was worried because my son has anxiety but against my better judgment I said ok. The teeth they sent home have full roots and were in no way ready to come out like I was told. I asked my son about the experience and he told me they hurt him pulling them. Patient and their parents need to have information consent and it seems like that's not a very high priority to the staff at Slechter dental. Edit: We gave them a few more chances and they did great with filling cavities, but on the second time they pulled his tooth they started and he felt the pain so they numbed him again. After all of this extra anxiety they broke his tooth and the root was left inside of his gums so now we have to take him to a pediatric dentist. DON'T take your kids here please!

I have had bad experiences w dentists in the area & this is the absolute best office I've ever been to! Amazing & caring staff, and Dr. Slechter is so amazing and helpful. So thankful for them all!! Can't imagine where I'd be if I didn't find this office, seriously. I don't believe for one second she would ever downgrade anyone or be judgemental because she's never been that way towards me, don't believe everything you hear

She is a joke refused to see my son because he was crying will getting his teeth cleaned cause it hurt then called my mother a worthless welfare woman and other names in front of my kids. Doc hope u read this cause ur report and will be investigated to the fullest
