Dr Slavescu did a great job: I did not need a single pain killer after a serious root canal fixed by him. I would go back in a heartbeat if I need too ( what I hope I do not).

I took my teenaged son to see Dr. Slavescu after the pediatric dentist told us to see an endodontist as he may need a root canal. Dr. Slavescu's office was very clean and followed all safety protocols in regards to Covid and I felt safe taking my son there. He took x-rays and explored the problem tooth. He was very professional and explained everything step by step to my son who felt very comfortable being in his chair. When he was done he called me in to explain that he in fact did not believe my son needed a root canal and explained everything in detail to me. I appreciate how he was honest. You don't always find that around and had I taken him somewhere else they may have just gone ahead and performed a root canal when he didn't need one. I highly recommend Dr. Slavescu and his office for your endodontist needs.

After Dr. Slavescu personally spoke with my Insurance Company,He agreed to see me and that appointment would be set up for the following Tuesday for a consultation regarding my needed root canal. I arrived to the office Tues. He had his front desk receptionist call my insurance company to confirm everything. He agreed to the exam After the exam, & exray, he explained the procedure, gave me a Rx for antibiotics, and he set the date for the root canal which would be a week from that Thursday. The following day his receptionist called me to Cancel the appointmentBecause he decided my insurance company was not paying him enough

Dr. Slavescu is not only the BEST endodontist, but a great listener with a deep compassion for his patient's needs. Since this was the first root canal I've ever experienced, Dr. Slavesc's skill, personality and concern for my well-being put me right at ease. His technique was quick, painless and very thorough. You can tell that Dr. Slavescu absolutely loves his work. If I have any future problems, Dr. Slavescu will be the ONLY endodontist I will ever go to.

Dr Slavescu has a great personality, was able to walk me through the entire process appeasing my heighten dental anxiety , office was clean and the staff was very attentive .I would definitely recommend Dr Slavescu to my family and friends

Dr. Slavescu is not only the BEST endodontist, but a great listener with a deep compassion for his patient's needs. Do not go to this endodontist. He does not build a relationship with you. As my my daughter was about to have a root canal, she was uncomfortable in his chair. He replied "Well, I have to work!". He was not concerned nor empathetic for her comfort nor her experience. He has a TV in his office. When he spoke, he kept his mask over his mouth. Well, with the mask plus the TV was on, it was hard to understand his explanations. The red flag that made us walk out is that ALL is dental tools were in one big pile on a tray. They were not set out nicely nor each one separate from the other. For example, he picked up a tool to start a root canal and he had to wrangle other tools off the one he picked up. There was also two syringes sticking out of the pile. I did mention this to him. I said "Why are all your tools in a pile?" He said "They are all sanitized. You can get a refund and leave if you want.". Well, I looked at my daughter (who's face was already numb) and asked her what she wanted to do. She said 'Let's leave'. We both agreed when we left that we had very bad gut feelings. We both felt something was going to go wrong and we were both happy we left even though she had already been numbed. We felt we did the right thing before he went any further. Made no sense way a healthcare practitioner would have all his tools in one big pile all mixed up and tangled together.
