Great dentist and friend to all. He has a very warm and inviting office atmosphere but more importantly, he is gentle, compassionate and caring. He listens and gives great advice. Thanks Josh!

How do 2 cleaning come out to be 600 dollars. Oh they charge you a add on while your getting a cleaning at antibiotic and rinse. How does a antibiotic cost more than a cleaning I tell you how. Fraud. Told the front deck lady this was on the reviews that you add on while in the chair. She just shrugged it off. Than ask if I have any cavity's for my exam other than the upcosr and crowns he says I need I need and says oh you were bleeding I couldn't see. Please save your self money and time and go somewhere else. Overpriced and felt scamed. Your literally just money not a patient. If your going to be a doctor act like one

Dr. Josh squeeze his schedule to see me and did an excellent job with my root canal. His front desk was extremely nice and helpful. 10 'S for his office and sweet Sammy

Dr Josh, is simply the best dentist I have ever been to in my 60 years of life. I barely felt the needle and his gentle touch and wonderful calm professional demeanor is unparalleled. I was going out of town and I needed a lot of work. He worked on me for 6 straight hours! Never got flustered or seemed rushed. I highly recommended Josh. Super nice person too!! PS- I might add as a business person myself I see that very few of these reviewers are taking shots at Dr SLATKOFF. Can't please everyone all the time, but I see that he has been at the same location for almost 20 years. He didn't make it that long by accident. Not sure what went wrong there. 2 sides to every story. Bottom line this is a great dentist!

Writing a review like this is a little uncomfortable, like giving away the location of a great beach or fantastic restaurant..... Dr Josh Slatkof is that rare combination of extremely skilled, very gentle and very genuine. If you are someone who has the kind of dental issues that require a highly gifted yet compassionate and understanding dentist, there is no one that I can recommend more highly. He is Six Stars in my experience!

I wish I didn't have to give this Dentist ANY stars! I definitely agree with the patients that are not happy with him. I had a very bad infection in one of my top teeth and went to see Dr. Slatkoff about this, he said I needed a root canal, I scheduled one and Dr. Slatkoff never gave me any antibiotics' for the infection. When I went for my root canal, he broke my tooth and he had to pull it, It was the first tooth I ever had pulled since I was a child! Dr. Slatkoff had to do a graft which never worked, his temp. tooth fell out, etc., it was a nightmare!! Finally after all the money I paid him, and never got any refund, I had to go to another expensive specialist who said Dr. Slatkoff didn't do my tooth right and he would do the graft and tooth like it should have been done. This specialist was great and knew his stuff and I had no problem again with that tooth that Dr. Slatkoff messed up on.

Do not use this dentist even if his is the only dental practice left standing. No matter the reason for your visit you will end up with ruined teeth. If you are coming in for a basic cleaning to keep your teeth healthy- he will give you a free check up and say you have a cavity that needs an immediate filling. Likewise, if you are seeing this dentist in need of a simple filling he will tell you your tooth is in helpless condition and will need a crown instead of the filling you came in for. After you agree to a crown the Slatkoff experience gets even more horrific. Endless visits, charges, ruined teeth, crowns that fall off, and a lot of regret and abused teeth that can not be fixed. You only get one set of natural teeth, do not let this monster come near them. What makes him extremely dangerous is that he is a competent dentist who knows how to do preventative and minor non invasive dental procedures with accuracy and precision, however he chooses to recommend and convinces patients to get complex, expensive procedures instead of what is actually best for the patient. Fillings and teeth cleaning does not pay his bills and sends his children to private schools. Implants, crowns and root canals do. Thus, recommending and performing what's best for your smile and teeth is not in his financial interest; and he won't. During the course of your visit even if you do not give permission to perform any complex and expensive procedures he will shave off your healthy teeth while performing routine work in your mouth, leaving irreparable damage. Dr. Slatkoff will turn the minor issue you came in for into a big and expensive problem. The only way to avoid having your teeth ruined is to avoid this fraudulent practice all together.

This doctor and his wife are big time scamers the wife she's very rude and nasty person and her husband he's even worse they don't guarantee their work in action just by word I had a crown done by doctor Joshua slatkoff and it was extremely expensive and the crown he installed in my tooth came out less than a year I was overseas I had to go to another dentist and pay more money to fix the horrible job Joshua slatkoff did the other dentist told me he has to do everything all over again because the post slatkoff did was not correct doesn't fit tight with the crown that's why it fell off incorrect and poor fitting I will never go to this doctor ever again and he is a liar

I've known this dentist and his wife for 1 year and 7 months. Before you use this place think twice. Do not use this place for your dental needs. I've never wrote a negative review before, but due to my experience I felt this was the right thing to do. I used this place for my Invisalign needs as well as a tooth issue I had. I had 3 people literally warn me about this dentist Joshua and especially his wife Sara but unfortunately I didn't heed the warning. 2 out of the 3 actually worked for the doctor and his wife, and the other person who warned me was a patient. I met the two employees after I started going to this doctor. Which 6 months later they were no longer working their due to the doctor and his wife on how they would treat their employees and patients. Due to my Invisalign I went back every week for 1 year and 7 months, giving chance after chance. With in that time one of his employees asked me am I happy with the results of my Invisalign and I said no because my teeth still were not straight, she literally looked me in my eyes and said to me with a low voice so no one would hear, she said do not let the doctor tell you he can't fix them because the treatment is over don't let him lie to you with excuses, he's supposed to fix it until you're satisfied as if she already knew what the doctor and his wife does. and like clock work, when I presented the issue to the doctor he said exactly that and also he said he would have to charge me again because Invisalign would charge me. I called Invisalign and Invisalign told me no that's not true we would not charge you. Also when I made the appointment and the office manager at that time because she's another employee who's no longer their gave me the cost of what I would have to pay, I specifically asked her will this cover all cost until I'm satisfied with my teeth and they are straight and she said yes. A week after they took money from my insurance and me paying out of pocket the doctors wife got involve and try to charge my insurance more, I said you will not do that you need to speak with your office manager which I already signed the amount she gave me. Towards the end of the year the doctor literally lied to me in my face saying I didn't finish my Invisalign course that's why we are having issues, I literally had to navigate the doctor in his notes to show him I did, he looked like a deer caught in head lights and scramble to clean his lie. That's how far he would go to take more money out of me. Literally this doctor and his wife are thieves, their employees have mentioned it, other patients have mentioned it and now me. Do not let this happen to you or your friends or family, or even a stranger, if you know of anyone who doesn't know any better and is planning to go to this dentist please stop them, it would be in their best interest to look for another dentist. I even had a sensitive tooth during my Invisalign course and he couldn't even treat that properly. After going back 3 times and said my tooth is still sensitive I literally had to stop mentioning it and seek another alternative. Stay away from this dentist Joshua slatkoff and his wife Sara slatkoff. Please listen to this warning. They are thieves of time and especially of money. I didn't go to this doctor for 1 week, I went to this doctor for 1 year and 7 months to have experience all this and more between him and his wife. Please stay away and seek another professional, one who does not guess on the quality of work in your mouth.

Dr Josh is AWESOME! Myself and my family have been seeing Dr Josh for the past few years and we all love him. He goes above and beyond what you'd normally expect from a Dentist/Doctor of Dentistry. He's always available to answer any of my questions and concerns, and has even been able to help me ASAP during dental emergencies that I've had. On top of that - his work is beyond exceptional! I highly recommend Dr Josh!

This is pretty much the greatest dentist in all of fort lauderdale, fl. friendliest staff, and i mean FRIENDLIEST, the energy, the mood, it's unreal how cool it is over there. 3 years later and i still feel the same about my dentist! greatest around.

Best dentist in Broward County. He has a soft touch so even if you are afraid of going to the dentist, you need not be afraid here. He also adds some very nice touches, like putting lip balm on your lips prior to any procedure to keep them hydrated, glasses to keep your eyes protected, laughing gas, if you require it, blankets, and my favorite ...snack and coffee in the waiting room. My whole family goes here. I would recommend him for the entire family.
